The Cultist Gem is infinitely obtained by completing the Cultist Stronghold, clearing all Cultists (or mysterious group) from a nighttime raid, and doing fishing on the Algal Pond, or Bone Pond with any Fishing Rod (random drop). You can also get 3 Cultist Gems by RNG from fully charging the Volcano. The temporary sources of getting the Cultist Gem are opening Gold Chest(s) (random drop), clearing the Cultist Laboratory, clearing the Cultist Base, raiding the Ice Temple, and giving 1 Carrot to the Noseless Snowman in the snow biome. The best method to get a lot of Cultist Gems is through fishing at the Algal Pond using a Strong Rod, or through sacrificing 8 Cultists to the Volcano.

Cargar por completo el Volcán también puede darte 3 gemas de golpe por suerte. Las fuentes temporales —abrir Cofres de Oro, limpiar el Laboratorio y la Base Cultista, asaltar el Templo de Hielo y dar una sola Zanahoria al Muñeco de Nieve Sin Nariz— son extras agradables pero se agotan.
¿Vale la pena conseguirla? Sin duda, y vale la pena farmearla activamente. Los dos métodos más eficientes son pescar en el Estanque de Algas con una Caña Fuerte o sacrificar 8 Cultistas al Volcán, así que elige el que encaje con tu partida. Como insumo puro de fabricación con suministro renovable, la Gema Cultista es un recurso que deberías acumular en lugar de gastar a la ligera.
