Dropped — Cyborg (Boss)

NPC: Cyborg (Boss)

📍 Fountain City

Description

Dropped by the Cyborg Boss in Fountain City, Cool Shades are a rare accessory that rewards persistent hunters willing to grind one of the Second Sea's more demanding boss fights. The drop is not guaranteed, so players often dedicate multiple sessions to farming Cyborg before the shades finally appear in their loot. As a rare-tier accessory, Cool Shades carry passive stat bonuses that can give your build a meaningful edge, and the rarity makes them a genuine status symbol among mid-game players. If you're farming Cyborg anyway for other rewards, keep the shades in mind as a worthwhile pickup that doubles as solid progression gear for that stage of the game.

Cool Shades — In-Depth Analysis

Let's cut to the chase: Cool Shades are hands-down the best accessory in the First Sea. This Rare-tier piece grants +17.5% movement speed, +7.5% bonus damage on every attack, +100 Energy and +100 Health. The speed boost is the kicker: it's the only First Sea accessory that touches movement, which makes it non-negotiable for both grinding mobs and PvP kiting.

To get them you have to farm Cyborg, a Level 675 boss lurking near the windmill on the peninsula of Fountain City in the First Sea. He respawns every 30 minutes and packs 43,735 HP. The drop rate is a brutal 1-2%, so settle in for the grind. Watch out for his Strong Right dash, the AoE Rising Fart Strike, and the Rocket Barrage.

Pairing-wise, Cool Shades slot perfectly with mobility-hungry fruits like Light, Magma, or Buddha for grinding, and shine on Sword main PvP builds where the +7.5% damage and speed close gaps for Yoru/Saber combos. Skip it only if you've got endgame Mirage Island gear.
