How awakening works

Awakening in Blox Fruits is an optional upgrade for select fruits that replaces base moves with stronger V2 versions. To awaken, complete the Castle on the Sea raid against Mihawk and the Order, earn fragments, and spend them on each move (Z, X, C, V) separately. Each move unlocks at rising costs: Z = 500, X = 1,500, C = 2,000, V = 1,500. Total full awakening: ~5,500 fragments per fruit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is awakening in Blox Fruits?

Awakening is an upgrade that unlocks stronger V2 moves for select fruits. You spend fragments inside the Castle on the Sea (Mihawk raid), and each awakened move improves damage, range or effect.

How do you get fragments for awakening?

Fragments drop from the Castle on the Sea raid (Mihawk + Order). A full run yields ~500-1,500 fragments depending on team and difficulty. They also drop from the Cake Land raid (Cake Prince) in similar amounts.

Which fruit is most worth awakening first?

For PvP: Dragon East/West, Kitsune or Leopard. For PvE grinding: Buddha or Dough — both have awakened moves with huge AOE. If your main fruit is going S-tier post-rework (like upcoming Venom), wait and awaken that one.

Does awakening reset when you change fruit?

Yes — awakening is per fruit. Lose or unequip the fruit and you lose the awakened progress. Buy a Permanent Fruit before sinking 5,000+ fragments into one.

How many fragments to fully awaken one fruit?

5,500 fragments total for a standard fruit (Z=500, X=1,500, C=2,000, V=1,500). The upcoming Venom rework bumps this to ~10,000 by adding awakened M1.
