Blox Fruits Beginner Guide

Level 1 to 700 — updated for April 2026.

Blox Fruits is one of Roblox's most-played games — an open-world One-Piece-inspired adventure where you fight, sail, hunt bosses, and chase Devil Fruits. This guide takes you from level 1 to 700 (the start of Sea 2) with the fastest XP routes, the best starter fruit, what to avoid, and how to spend your first 1,000,000 Beli without regret.

Pick a starting style: Sword, Gun, Combat or Fruit

When you spawn at level 1 you have a wooden sword and basic combat. Don't rush a fruit yet — you can earn one for free at level 15 by hunting the first boss. Until then, level a sword to feel out the game.

Combat (the kicking fighting style) is the F-key skill that scales for free. Always upgrade Defense and Sword first. Fruit Mastery comes later.

Levels 1–100: Sea 1 grinding route

Stick to NPCs ~5 levels above yours: Bandits → Pirates → Brutes → Marines → Pirate Captains. Each kill drops Beli and bigger XP per kill than enemies of your level. Avoid quest-running until level 30 — quest XP is bait for new players.

At level 30 buy a Devil Fruit if you have ~250k Beli. Recommended early picks: Smoke (mob clear), Light (mobility + range), Dark (PvP-strong). Skip 'fun' fruits like Bomb or Spring early on.

Levels 100–300: First boss runs and Marine Fortress

The Saber Expert and Vice Admiral are key boss farms in this stretch. Vice Admiral drops the Marine outfit, Saber Expert is the start of the Saber V2 quest line. Grind both while leveling.

Keep moving Sea 1 islands every ~30 levels. The Desert and Frozen Village have the best XP/sec for this band. Always carry stat-reset funds in case you misallocate.

Levels 300–700: Skylands and the Sea 2 transition

Skylands unlocks at level 350. The two big rewards here: the Sky Arena boss and the path to Sea 2. Don't sleep on 1st Sea raids — they hand out fruits players sell back for huge Beli.

Hit level 700, complete the Magma Admiral quest, and step through the Sea 2 portal. Welcome to the real game.

What to avoid in your first week

Don't trade fruits to randoms in lobbies. Use the value list and the WFL calculator on this site before any trade.

Don't pay Robux for permanent fruits before level 200 — you'll outgrow most picks fast. The exception is Permanent Buddha, which holds value forever.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best starter fruit in Blox Fruits?

Light is the most-recommended starter for solo grinders: range, mobility and decent damage. For PvP bias, take Dark. For pure mob clear, take Smoke or Magma.

How fast can I reach level 700?

With consistent grinding (no questing detours) and a Common fruit you can clear 1–700 in 8–12 hours. Using a 2x XP code or Premium speeds it to 5–7 hours.

Should I buy Robux fruits as a beginner?

Only if you can afford to repeat the purchase later. Most early Robux fruits get outclassed by the first Mythical drop you buy with Beli at sea-level 1500.
