Mermaid Top

The Mermaid Top is the upper half of the Mermaid Set, and it comes from the code M3RM4ID. The wiki and the code list both mark that code as active, so you can still redeem it from the bag menu. The piece was added in the Summer 2024 update on 29 June 2024, is classed as a costume top for female avatars, and has toggles for extra versions.

The code gives you two items: this top and the Mermaid Tail. The wiki labels the set Permanent and free, so it is one of the more reliable looks to complete, unlike the Mermaid Queen Set, which relied on the expired THEGAMES code from The Games event.

On its own, the top works with any bottom, so you can mix it with a skirt for a softer look or with the tail for the full effect. It could work for Mermaid/ Siren, Aquatic or Coral Reef rounds, and for Beach Bonanza when you want a sea-inspired top. Use the toggles to check which version fits the colors of the rest of your outfit.
