About Malediction
Malediction was a Blood Rain exclusive from the Halloween 2025 event, added in Eon 1-9 with a chance of 1 in 730,000,000. At 1x luck that is 730 million rolls, which explains why few players ever saw it. The Sol's RNG Wiki lists it as an Event aura and, with the event over, it is not obtainable now. The title is a literal curse. A swirling red vortex full of dark mist and glowing particles surrounds the player, a bright red circle with a star shape pulses above the centre, and tall stone pillars and big skulls with glowing red eyes rise from behind the fog. The opening scene fades from black to red, with an eight-pointed dark-red star burning from top and bottom, a rotating ring, small skulls moving at random and a pair of pulses from ritual symbols.
The wiki says the cutscene resembles Bloodlust's, but Malediction has a symbol circling the star and skulls falling like rain, which is the quickest way to tell them apart.
