About Obsidian

A sword of volcanic glass is the centrepiece of Obsidian, a Mythic aura at 1 in 1,750,000 added on 27 June 2026 in Eon 1-24. There is no biome shortcut, so the estimate is about 1.75 million rolls at 1x luck, or roughly 175,000 with 10x. blwy2, CoolJamesTheAwesome1 and thwpluywr are the creators.

The Sol's RNG Wiki describes an all-purple look. The floor is slow smooth fog with neon purple wave lines, a slow spiral at the centre and cracked-floor textures at the edges. Stones held by chains float beside the player, smaller rocks circle them, a smooth outline covers the limbs and torso, and the right hand holds a sharp sword whose tip is lit by soft purple smoke. The cutscene is a slowly rotating dark purple and black eight-pointed star on black, with purple shine creeping in from the corners.

Behind the scenes, the wiki says Obsidian was first planned as an Oblivion Potion exclusive, but the idea was dropped before the update. It is also one of the few auras that does not show its rarity, and it carries a second title that simply repeats "Obsidian".
