About Parasite

Two descriptions exist for Parasite, and the contrast says a lot. The old one is a warning about a creature that uses its hosts only to multiply; the current one is gentler and stranger, about thick foreign skin and a symbiosis you chose not to fight. The Sol's RNG Wiki describes violet flames rising from the floor, black smoke, a blob wrapped around the right arm that drags behind as the player walks, and five purple and black tendrils coming from a trembling, covered face.

Parasite is a Mythic aura from Eon 1-7 whose Corruption biome is the best way to get it: 1 in 600,000 there against 1 in 3,000,000 elsewhere. In expected rolls at 1x luck that is about 600,000 versus 3,000,000, or 60,000 versus 300,000 at 10x.
