Dress To Impress Halloween 2026 ("The Night of Scream Queens") went live on outubro 17, 2026, a week later than first planned, and its quest, Tales of the Dark King, is slated to open on outubro 24, 2026. The atualização adds a new currency (Candy Corn), a Ghost Hunting game mode, a Tarot Cards minigame, a new Baddie Pass and roughly three dozen new items. This guia is built from the Dress To Impress Wiki and the game's own Roblox page; we did not play-test it. The evento is still running, so everything below is what the wiki documents as of outubro 24, 2026, and parts of it will change.

The map is the first thing you'll notice. A new Halloween lobby, dressing room and runway arrive across all game modes, and the Freeplay map goes back to Halloween Town, the spooky village from last year with a few new areas.
The Halloween 2026 quest: Tales of the Dark King
The quest is where the wiki is thinnest, so here is exactly what it says. Tales of the Dark King is the third Halloween-themed quest in the game, after the 2024 quest and Book 1: The Black Raveness in 2025. The developers unveiled it on setembro 11, 2026 at RDC 2026 and posted a teaser the next day. It is confirmed as a three-chapter quest, and the official blurb talks about a descent into the Greek underworld "where the dead still whisper."
That's the whole list. The wiki's Storyline and Gameplay sections both read "TBA", and no reward items are documented for it. The Part 2 page is also still tagged as unreleased and as needing improvement, so treat its outubro 24 to novembro 13 window as provisional.
What we can do is compare with last year. The 2025 quest, built around the character Lina, was a multi-step affair: you hunt ravens around an amphitheater and return each to the right cage. Its rewards were the Black Raveness set pieces, such as the Black Raveness Dress and the Lina Heart Necklace. If the 2026 quest pays out the same way, expect locked items you can only earn by finishing it. That is an inference from the pattern, not something the wiki confirms.
Per the wiki, Part 2 also brings three new hairstyles (names not listed yet), a conversion of Summer 2026's Flowers currency into Cash, and a new Weekly Boutique set: the Alien Bodysuit, Alien Antenna, Alien Sleeves and Alien Shoes.
Candy Corn: how the new currency works
Candy Corn is the evento currency, and it buys limited-time stock from the Shop. The wiki lists these ways to earn it: playing normal rounds, completing Daily Tasks, climbing the Baddie Pass, playing the Halloween minigames and playing Ghost Hunting. You can also buy it with Robux.
Here is what the minigames pay, according to their wiki pages:

Tarot Cards is the new one. Sixteen shuffled cards sit face down, you match eight pairs, and you get twelve lives. Perfect it and you bank 640. Apple Bobbing and Trick-or-Treating no longer have cooldown timers this year. Trick-or-Treating is still a gamble: a door can give you Candy Corn plus a Halloween runway effect, nothing, or a jumpscare. Apple Bobbing can also drop Stars, Cash, a runway effect or the Ghost Dress.
Now the part that matters. Add up the Candy Corn prices in the shop and the numbers get big fast. The Star Witch Set alone costs 256,000. At 640 per perfect Tarot game, that is 400 perfect games for one set. Last year the same Apple Bobbing payout was 400 Candy, and the whole Jester set cost 1,350 Candy. This year the Jester pieces cost 172,000 Candy Corn combined. Either round payouts, Daily Tasks and Ghost Hunting pay far more than the minigames do, or this is a much steeper grind than 2025. The wiki doesn't document round payouts, so we can't tell you which. Check your own balance after a few rounds before you decide what to chase.
Ghost Hunting and the other new activities
Ghost Hunting is a separate game mode you reach through the teleport button. Once you're in a server, you grab a Ghost-O-Matic device and hunt ghosts in a haunted version of the Dressing Room, earning Candy Corn. That is all the Halloween 2026 page says; the Ghost Hunting page itself has no gameplay text yet.
Spooky Showdown is Style Showdown with a Halloween coat of paint and new challenges. The wiki's page for it is also a stub, so we can't list the challenges.
Skin Details got a full rework. The skin menu was rebuilt, vitiligo is now colorable, and there are free and paid options. The free set has Vitiligo 1, 2 and 3, Freckles, Highlights and Palms. The paid Spooktacular Skin Details gamepass costs 199 Robux and adds ten more: Dirty, three Veins, Reptile, two Hands and three Dolls.
Two older items also got new toggles: the Vampire Corset has an "Only Bat" option, and the Jester Bodysuit gained a "Shoes" toggle.

Free items (play during the evento)
Ten new items unlock by playing during Halloween 2026, no purchase: the Scarecrow Dress, the three-piece Starlight Guard set (jacket, pants, boots), the Piano Bolero and Piano Bag, the Antique Doll Bonnet and Collar, the Lantern and the Kitty. Last year's free pieces also return: the Rain Hat, Coat and Boots, the Star Top, the Emo Top and Skirt, and the Biker Jacket, Corset and Shorts.
VIP items
The new VIP perks are the Princess Crown, Rifle and Violin, all marked as default items for VIP owners. The Cocktail Mini Dress was reworked, and the Wonderland four-piece set, the Uniform Top and Skirt and the Vampire Corset return. VIP is a gamepass (799 Robux per the wiki's gamepass list).

The Lunar Werewolf Tail isn't in the shop. It's a Baddie Pass reward at tier 3.
Weekly Boutique
The Mushroom Set rotates through the Weekly Boutique for Cash: the Mushroom Hat at 1,500, Mushroom Shoes at 1,800, and the Cape and Fireflies Jar at 2,000 each. That is 7,300 Cash for the full set. The Alien set follows in Part 2.
Baddie Pass
Twelve of the new items come from the Halloween Collection 2026 pass, per the wiki's item list, including the Rose (tier 1), Ghost Bride Heels (tier 24) and Ghost Bride Gown (tier 30), and two of them are hairstyles. The pass also hands out a pattern pack at tier 19 and a pose pack at tier 29. We cover the tier list in the Baddie Pass guide.
Robux
The Haunting Beauty Set was reworked: the dress became a skirt, a separate corset was added, and a classic makeup look joined it, so the set now has seven pieces plus the makeup. The wiki's set page lists it at 449 Robux, while its gamepass table still shows 259 from the 2025 launch, so one of the two is out of date (regional pricing can also shift Robux prices).
Reworked and removed
Reworked: the Top Hat, the Cocktail Mini Dress, the Monster Corset and the Haunting Beauty Set. Removed: the Beach Wrap Blouse, Beach High Waisted Shorts, Oversized Blazer, Ruffled Beach Bikini Top and Cropped Fur Coat. If you wanted any of those, check what you already own. The wiki gives no reason for the removals.

Last year's season ran until dezembro 13, 2025 and had a movie collaboration in the middle of it (see our collaborations guia). This year's page lists no end date.
What we couldn't confirm
- The quest's story, steps and rewards. All "TBA" on the wiki today.
- How much Candy Corn rounds, Daily Tasks and Ghost Hunting pay out.
- Whether the Part 2 dates (outubro 24 to novembro 13) are final. The page carries an "unreleased" tag.
- Whether Candy Corn items return after the evento. Last year's Candy items (the Jester set) did come back, but that's no promise.
- Exact Baddie Pass rewards. The pass page still has placeholder entries copied from Summer 2026.
What to do first
Grab the free pieces first. They cost nothing, and the wiki ties them to playing during the evento. Then check all Halloween items in our database and the atualização log for new entries. If you're short on time, play the Baddie Pass: its free track covers a lot of the new content, and 2025's pass gave Diamond buyers the extra items without locking free players out of the main ones. Hairstyles and classic makeup are rarely locked: 130 of the 137 hairstyles and 112 of the 121 makeup looks in our data are free by default.
