En el bosque de 99 Nights in the Forest, Frogs es de las entidades que conviene identificar cuanto antes — tanto para cazarla como para evitarla. Tiene 70 de vida, inflige 5 de daño por golpe, y se mueve a velocidad TBA.

Su comportamiento en el bosque depende de factores como la hora de la noche y la proximidad de otros jugadores. Si logras derrotarla, los drops conocidos incluyen: Morsel (1), Frog Key (0-1). Planifica si vale el riesgo antes de intentarlo.

Saber distinguir entre criaturas matables y no matables es una de las habilidades más importantes en 99 Nights. Frogs tiene su propio umbral — consulta los stats y decide si tu equipo actual está listo.

The Frogs are a hostile animal that was added in the Frog Invasion actualización on agosto 22, 2025. They emerge from the ponds after 10 minutes in the run, and they attack using their tongue to damage and give the player the poison effect. However, the frogs are not guaranteed to spawn every run, like the Aliens, or the meteor crabs . === Frog types === There are four types of frogs. This list is organized in desceding order of strength: # Frog King / Orange Frog # Purple Frog # Blue Frog # Green Frog When a frog is killed, it spawns two frogs of the next weaker type. For example, the Purple Frog will spawn two Blue Frogs. The only exception to this is the Green Frog, which only drops a morsel. Additionally, frogs of all types have a chance to drop a Frog Key (not the green one) After collecting eight Frog Keys by fishing or killing frogs, the player can enter the Frog Cave, where they will face many frogs in waves, similar to the Mothership. Upon completion, players are able to open a Frog Chest. Frogs can be tamed with 2 Mackerel using the Old Taming Flute, however, only Green Frogs can be tamed.
