About Death

Built for pressure on defense, Death speeds up your dribble after a steal, speeds up the steal itself, raises your off-ball movement and makes you immune to ankle breaks. The wiki spells out how the pieces connect: a fast steal animation is hard to react to, post-steal dribble speed sets up an explosive fast break before the defense recovers, and the ankle-break immunity keeps you glued to your matchup against heavy-dribble styles.

It was designed with the Tatlis V2 style, whose entry in the Update Log is dated 16 August 2026. In that Limited style, Phantom Step goes around an opponent in front of you, or nutmegs them if you hold the ball, and Soul Walk turns you into a shadow-like figure that holds off the defender while you dribble, pass or shoot.

The wiki recommends Defensive styles and transition offenses. Death used to roll at 0.25%, about one in 400 spins, or 1% with Lucky Spins during its Limited banner. The Black Market lists zones like this one at usually $1,000,000 apiece, and the wiki says it may return there.
