Marine Fortress — In-Depth Analysis
Marine Fortress is an anchor-shaped First Sea island surrounded by stone walls, with quests for players at Levels 120 to 150. It lies northwest of Marine Starter and was completely revamped in Update 30. The Marine quest giver offers two quests: Defeat 8 Chief Petty Officers at Lv. 120 for 6,000 Beli and 225,000 XP, and Defeat Vice Admiral at Lv. 130 for 15,000 Beli and 415,000 XP. Chief Petty Officers are Lv. 120 and the Vice Admiral is the island boss. The wiki notes that grinding the Vice Admiral is one of the best ways to earn money in the First Sea. Parlus sells the Black Cape for 50,000 Beli in the southeast tower, and the Advanced Weapon Dealer sells guns such as the Cannon, Refined Slingshot and Dual Flintlock. Every six hours the raid boss Greybeard (Lv. 750) can spawn, and dealing at least 10% damage to him upgrades the Bisento to Bisento V2. Secrets include a flag-and-rope minigame from Parlus, a pirate brigade event with turrets, an awakened Vice Admiral event and Love Letter #3 in a maze under the castle. Blade is recommended for its immunity and long-range M1.
