Blox Fruits Venom Rework

Awakened all 5 moves, V transformation overhaul and projected S-tier PvP — landing April–May 2026.

The Venom rework is one of the most-anticipated balance passes of the Blox Fruits 2026 roadmap — repositioning Venom from a niche raid pick to a top-tier PvP option. Awakening costs, M1 hitbox, the Z and X moves, and the V transformation are all being touched. Devs have confirmed the rework lands during the April–May 2026 update window. This page tracks every confirmed change and what it means for builds.

What is being changed

The biggest reveal is that all five Venom moves will be eligible for awakening, up from three currently. Awakening costs scale: Z costs 1,000 fragments, X 1,500, C 2,000, V 3,000, and the new awakened M1 charge costs 2,500 fragments. Total awakened build sits at 10,000 fragments versus the current 5,500.

M1 has been retuned to apply a poison DOT on hit instead of pure damage. That makes Venom a threat at low mastery and not just a high-skill awaken pick.

Move-by-move breakdown

Z (Venomous Spit): now travels in a wide cone instead of a single line. Doubles its CC window in awakened form.

X (Toxic Cloud): radius increased ~30%. Inflicts a stacking poison that ticks faster as stacks rise.

C (Venom Demon): unchanged base form. Awakened version adds a knockback and a brief stun on contact.

V (Final Venom): the headline move. Fully reworked transformation that lasts 12s and grants a passive damage aura. Replaces the current low-impact buff.

Should you grind Venom now?

Yes — owning Venom before the rework saves you from the post-rework price spike. Pre-rework value is in the upper-mid Mythical band; post-rework projections place it in top-tier Mythical alongside Dragon East/West.

Mastering Venom on the current patch keeps your mastery progress when the rework lands. Awakening fragments, however, will need to be re-spent to unlock the new awakened moves.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Blox Fruits Venom rework being released?

Bloxstudios has confirmed the Venom rework drops in the April–May 2026 update window, alongside the Easter event tail end and ahead of the bigger Update 26 mid-year content.

Will Venom be awakenable after the rework?

Yes — and more so than before. After the rework all five Venom moves can be awakened, including a new awakened M1. The full awakened cost sits around 10,000 fragments.

Is Venom going up in value after the rework?

Most analysts expect a sharp value jump. Pre-rework Venom is in the upper-mid Mythical band; the projected post-rework slot is alongside Dragon East/West in the top Mythical tier. Buy or grind before the rework if you can.

Does the Venom rework reset awakening progress?

Mastery progress carries over. Awakening fragments will need to be re-spent because the move set is being expanded — Z, X, C plus new V and M1 awakens are all gated by fragments after the rework.
