Ichor

Currency

• Main currency of the game, spent in the shop before the run.
• Some Toons and Trinkets also require an amount of Ichor together with another condition (research, machines or floors).
• New floors and Twisteds only give Ichor if you die; machines and capsules give Ichor at any time.

How to get it

• Complete a floor: 5 Ichor (6 from floor 15), only when you die.
• See a Twisted for the first time: 1 Ichor (1.25 from floor 15), only when you die.
• Fill a machine: 5 Ichor. If several players work on it, each one receives 1 Ichor for every 20% they contribute, rounded up.
• Pick up a research capsule: 2 Ichor.
• Use a Toon's active or toggle ability: 5 Ichor, once per floor.
• Robux purchase: 300 Ichor for 75 Robux, 1500 for 375 Robux and 5500 for 1250 Robux.

Research

Currency

• Progress per Twisted: a research percentage builds up on each Twisted separately.
• Reaching 100% on a Twisted claims its research Trinket.
• You need to gather Research to unlock some Toons and Trinkets.

How to get it

• Pick up research capsules: 2 for each Twisted present on each floor, and each one gives 1% (sometimes 2% with Rodger).
• Find a Twisted: 5% research on that Twisted, once per floor.

What it is for

• Unlock Toons and Trinkets that require it.
• Reach 100% on a Twisted to claim its Trinket.

Tapes

Currency

• Currency used only within the current run.
• Spent in the elevator's Dandy shop after completing a floor (if the next floor's number is even) and on some Toon abilities.
• Obtained directly by picking up items, completing machines, surviving floors or finding Twisteds.

How to get it

• Pick up loose Tapes on the floor: 5.
• Pick up items: 2 (common), 3 (uncommon), 5 (rare), 8 (very rare) or 10 (ultra rare) Tapes per item.
• Complete machines: 1 Tape per 10% of the machine, up to 10 per machine.
• Survive a floor: 10 Tapes.
• Use a non-passive ability for the first time on a floor: 3 Tapes.
• Find a Twisted: 5 Tapes, once per floor and per Twisted.
• Trinkets: Coin Purse gives 30 Tapes and Fancy Purse gives 100 when equipped.

• They are picked up client-side: even if one player picks it up, it stays available to the others.
• The fake capsules of Twisted Rodger attack whoever opens them.
