Lantern

Added on 17 October 2026 with the Halloween 2026 update, the Lantern is an accessory prop that any avatar can carry. The wiki gives its source as "Playing during Halloween 2026", which points to event play rather than Cash, a code or a pass. No price is listed.

Several other pieces from the same update share that source: the Antique Doll Bonnet, the Antique Doll Collar, the Haunted Dress, the Kitty and the Scarecrow Dress. If you only plan to play the event and skip the boutique, those make a natural pool to mix from. Do not confuse the Lantern with the Lunar Lantern, a separate bag from the Lunar New Year Set.

The Lantern has toggles, so expect at least one alternate state when you pick it in the Closet. A hand-held light gives an outfit a small story, which is why it could work for Haunted Forest, Campfire Stories or Paranormal Investigator rounds, and for Trick or Treat if you add a costume. The update is recent, so check in game that the event is still running before you spend time on it.
