Events are limited-time content drops that bring exclusive crops, pets, eggs, weather and cosmetics. Some return annually (Valentine's, Halloween, Christmas), others were one-shot collabs.

How long do Grow a Garden events usually last?
It varies a lot. Some events are as short as 24 hours — the 4th of July Event 2025 lasted only one day with a limited merchant run by Uncle Sam. Most seasonal events run one to two weeks, like the Chubby Chipmunk Event (October 4–11, 2025) or the Fairy Event (August 30 – September 13, 2025). Bigger holiday events such as Christmas Harvest ran three full weeks (December 6–27, 2025), while New Year's launched right after on December 27. Always check the event end date so you don't miss the exclusive rewards.
Do events introduce permanent features or are all rewards temporary?
Some events permanently change the game. The Cooking Event (August 2025) introduced a temporary cooking mechanic that was so popular it became the permanent Cooking Kit after the event ended. The Trader Event (November 2025) added the full Trading Plaza, which stayed in the game for good. Most rewards — exclusive seeds, event pets, special gears, and limited currencies — are only available during the event itself, so if you miss them they become rare trade items later.
What kinds of rewards can I earn during events?
Events hand out a wide variety of exclusive items. The Seed Stages Event introduced Evo seeds (Evo Pumpkin, Evo Mushroom, Evo Beetroot, Evo Blueberry) that evolve through three tiers. The Fairy Event gave out Enchanted Eggs, Glimmering Radars, and Fairy Targeter gear. The Smithing Event dropped Coal tiers (Common through Divine) used to forge upgrades. Other events bring new weather types, event-only pets, special currencies like Harvest Points or Fairy Points, and even merch-linked items through PhatMojo partnerships.

The Celebrity Guest Event was a mini-event that ran for just about 30 minutes during the Zen Event update in 2025. Kansas City Chiefs NFL star Travis Kelce appeared in-game alongside developer Jandel, answering questions and introducing special admin mutations. Players could obtain exclusive crops including the Football and Fruitball, plus rare mutations: Touchdown, Jackpot, Subzero, and Blitzshock. It was one of the shortest and most unusual events in Grow a Garden history, making those rewards extremely rare.
Are there recurring annual events that come back every year?
Yes — several events have returned in 2026 with updated content. The Bizzy Bee Event ran in both May 2025 and May 2026. Easter returned in April 2026 after its 2025 edition in April 2025. These recurring events often bring fresh seeds, pets, and mechanics on top of the originals, so even returning events are worth playing. Seasonal events tied to real holidays — Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas — are the most reliable ones to watch for each year.
