Smithing Event

The Smithing Event premiered in Update 1.32.0 on November 15, 2025 and ended November 22, a tight one-week window built around a forging fantasy. Its signature addition was a pet age break mechanic that raised the Max Age to 125, a quality-of-life shift that mattered far beyond the event itself since it permanently changed how high pets could be aged.

The reward economy here was clearly tiered around coal: Common, Rare, Legendary and Divine Coal formed the crafting backbone, paired with a Digging Crate, a Dig Trinket and a standout Gem Egg. Just as distinctive was the custom weather suite, including Smithing Fever and Smithing Storm alongside Thunderstorm, Rain, Heatwave, Sandstorm and Gale, which drove the event's smithing loop. The right priority during the week was funneling effort toward Divine Coal and the Gem Egg, since those sit at the top of the value chain while lower coals are bulk fuel.

Looking back, the Gem Egg and Divine Coal are the pieces with lasting trade weight, and the Max Age 125 change quietly remains one of this event's most enduring legacies for serious pet raisers.
