Demon King is the ultimate endgame S+ tier sword in Sailor Piece and draws unmistakably from Solo Leveling's Sung Jin-Woo in his full Shadow Monarch incarnation. The blade is pitch-black with purple-violet shadow tendrils orbiting the hilt. M1 chains proc shadow marks that accumulate and trigger bonus hits at 5 stacks, Z summons a shadow soldier projection that attacks the target independently for 4 seconds, X is Arise — a ground slam that raises shadow hands which stagger all nearby enemies, and V activates Monarch's Domain — an absolutely massive shadow zone that empowers M1 damage by 50 % and summons two autonomous soldier projections. Peak PvE, elite PvP.

Demon King is best used with the Shadow Monarch special race (if unlocked) or Ancient race for the passive stat scaling, then run Dark Step fighting style for the fluid shadow-aesthetic movement that complements every ability. The macro gameplan in team fights: use X Arise to crowd-control then drop V Monarch's Domain — inside the domain your shadow soldier projections and buffed M1s delete entire groups before the 8-second domain expires. In 1v1, the Z autonomous soldier is your best tool for applying relentless pressure while you reposition.

Demon King is the boss drop from the Shadow Monarch Raid — a 10-player elite event that rewards the sword at 2 % per participant. Most serious players hunt it through high-value trades, as the raid requires near-perfect gear. Trade demand is consistently the second-highest in the game behind Cosmic Being, typically pegged at 10–14 T3 Fruits with no signs of softening.
