Her form dissolved into a cascade of bioluminescent light, ascending from the earth, leaving only a single blue flower to sway in the sudden quiet. The world was forgetting them. Willingly. Peacefully. In the center of the radiant, erased clearing, the fabric of the dark tore open. A rift of pure, silver light spilled across the grass: a pathway to the true moon.
