Slap a Candy mutation on any brainrot and its cash-per-second output immediately quadruples — a meaningful jump that puts serious distance between a plain brainrot and a mutated one. A x4 multiplier sits comfortably in the mid-tier of the mutation ladder: well above the common Gold (x1.25) and Diamond (x1.5) rolls that most players encounter early on, yet still a step below the elite Cyber and Disco mutations at x11 and the coveted Phantom at x12. For active grinders, that difference in passive income adds up fast across a full base of brainrots.

Mutations reach a brainrot one of two ways: a spin on the Mutation Spinner, where outcome rarity scales with multiplier strength, or a pull from a Gold Lucky Block. Because Candy is a limited mutation, it does not appear in the standard rotation — which makes landing one considerably harder and raises its value on the trading floor.

Beyond raw income, a Candy mutation visually recolors the brainrot in a distinctive look, making it instantly recognizable on anyone's base. Crucially, mutations stack on top of any trait multipliers the brainrot already carries, compounding the total earnings even further. A high-multiplier, well-traited brainrot is one of the most attractive steal targets in the game, so keeping a Candy-mutated character safe requires a well-defended base.
