Landing the Bubblegum trait on a brainrot is a meaningful upgrade — its x3 income multiplier triples whatever that character was already earning per second, placing it comfortably above the common x1.5–x2 minor traits while sitting well below the elite x9 Strawberry at the top of the ladder. It is not a game-changer on its own, but a x3 is respectable and noticeably accelerates your cash flow compared to an untraited brainrot or one stuck with the dreaded x0.5 Sleepy penalty.

Bubblegum falls under the Admin Abuse category, meaning it is not tied to seasonal holidays or the Red Carpet event cycle. Instead, staff members spawn a bubblegum machine in front of the Brainrot Spawn during an unannounced, staff-run event, and the trait is then randomly applied to brainrots that pass through it. Because these sessions happen without warning and are entirely at staff discretion, Bubblegum can be tricky to catch in the wild.

Since traits are permanent and stack multiplicatively with any Mutation your brainrot also carries, a Bubblegum-traited brainrot becomes a priority target for thieves. Keep it behind your defenses and treat it as a serious trade asset — buyers will pay a premium for the combination.
