Landing on a brainrot during an Admin Abuse event, the Meowl trait delivers an x8 income multiplier — a serious boost that puts it firmly in the upper tier of OG traits. When a brainrot carries Meowl, it generates eight times its base cash-per-second output, which means the gap in passive earnings between an untraited brainrot and a Meowl-traited one is enormous. Only the x9 Strawberry OG trait edges it out at the very top; minor traits in the x1.5–x2 range feel almost negligible by comparison, and the infamous x0.5 Sleepy trait actively cuts income in half.

Meowl belongs to the OG category, meaning it is a legacy trait from earlier in the game's life — you cannot grind toward it through a predictable shop or spinner. During an Admin Abuse session, staff members trigger the event manually: trees fill the map and smaller Meowls perch on them, until one wanders over to a brainrot sitting on the Red Carpet and permanently applies the trait. Timing and being present in the right server are everything.

Because traits are permanent and stack multiplicatively with Mutations, a brainrot holding Meowl is one of the most coveted trading assets in the game. Keep it off the Red Carpet when you're not actively farming, or a rival can steal the entire brainrot — Meowl multiplier and all — right out from under you.
