For context, minor traits like x1.5 or x2 barely move the needle, while the legendary x9 Strawberry sits at the very top — Nyan's x5 sits comfortably in between, making it a strong and immediately noticeable upgrade over an untouched brainrot.

Nyan belongs to the admin_abuse category, which means it is not tied to any season, ritual, or map event that regular players can plan around. Instead, staff members trigger it themselves: during a staff-run event, Nyan Cats circle the entire map, and the trait is randomly applied to brainrots that happen to spawn in during that window. You cannot queue for it or buy your way into it — timing and luck are everything.

Because traits are permanent and stack on top of any Mutation a brainrot already carries, a Nyan-traited brainrot with a good Mutation multiplier becomes an elite cash-generating asset and a high-value trade target. Keep it tucked deep in your base; rivals know exactly how much a x5 trait is worth and will make a run for it.
