It does not reach the rarefied heights of the x9 Strawberry (the strongest OG trait in the game), but sitting at x5.5 puts a brainrot well ahead of the pack and makes it a genuinely productive earner on any base.

Pink Balloon is a seasonal trait, a category reserved for limited holiday events rather than permanent or legacy drops. Specifically, it comes from the Eid Celebration event, during which festive Eid-themed marquees and decorations fill the entire map. While the event is active, any brainrot that spawns in has a chance to randomly roll Pink Balloon on the Red Carpet — you cannot farm a specific brainrot for it; the trait is handed out at random to whatever spawns during the window.

Because traits are permanent once applied and stack multiplicatively with Mutations, a brainrot carrying Pink Balloon becomes significantly more valuable over time — especially if a Mutation from the Mutation Spinner or a Gold Lucky Block is layered on top.
