Earning the RIP Tombstone trait during Halloween season is one of the best upgrades a brainrot can receive outside the rarest OG traits. At x3.5, it triples and a half a brainrot's base cash-per-second output — a meaningful jump above the x1.5–x2 minor traits that barely move the needle, and comfortably in the mid-to-upper tier, though still well below the x9 Strawberry at the very top. If your brainrot is already pulling decent income, this multiplier makes it a genuinely dangerous steal target.

The RIP Tombstone is a seasonal trait, meaning it is tied to a limited Halloween event rather than being a legacy OG trait locked to the game's early days. It spawns during an hourly rotation: a dark, veiny environment floods the map and graves rise around the arena. Any brainrot still walking the map during that window can be randomly touched by the event and receive the trait permanently — no Red Carpet placement required, just timing and luck.

Because traits are permanent and stack on top of any Mutation a brainrot already carries, a RIP Tombstone brainrot wearing a good mutation becomes a high-value trading asset. Keep it locked down on your base; the moment it is stolen, that multiplier belongs to your rival.
