Natural events traits like Snowy activate automatically when the game's environment shifts into a themed state, putting them in the same broad category as country_events themes but tied specifically to weather or seasonal map changes rather than holidays or staff-run Admin Abuse drops.

At x2 income, Snowy sits in the lower tier of the trait ladder. The ceiling belongs to legacy OG traits like x9 Strawberry, and anything x1.5–x2 is considered a modest upgrade over a bare brainrot. Still, it comfortably beats the x1 baseline and is a world away from Sleepy, the only trait that actively cuts income at x0.5.

Where Snowy earns its keep is in stacking. Traits are permanent and multiply on top of whatever Mutation the Mutation Spinner or a Gold Lucky Block adds, so even a modest x2 trait can push a well-mutated brainrot into genuinely valuable territory for cash-per-second grinding and trading.
