While elite og traits like the x9 Strawberry dwarf it in raw value, x2 sits comfortably above the bare-minimum x1 base rate and well above the dreaded x0.5 Sleepy — which actually cuts income in half. For newer players or mid-tier brainrots, that 2× boost can meaningfully accelerate how fast your base accumulates cash.

Taco belongs to the admin_abuse category, a group of traits that staff members drop during surprise, unannounced events rather than through any seasonal schedule or ritual. During an Admin Abuse event, tacos rain from the sky and a taco cannon materializes above the Brainrot Spawn, randomly hitting brainrots in the area and applying the trait on contact. There is no reliable way to predict or grind for these events — being online when staff decide to run one is the only path.

Since traits are permanent and stack multiplicatively with Mutations, a brainrot carrying Taco plus a strong Mutation becomes a genuinely solid trading asset. Keep any trait-bearing brainrot well-defended on your base; rivals can walk in and steal it, and that 2× income boost goes with it.
