Landing the Tie trait means your brainrot graduates with a permanent x3.75 income multiplier — a genuine mid-to-upper-tier boost that puts it well above the common x1.5–x2 crowd and comfortably ahead of most players' everyday grinders. It won't reach the legendary heights of a x9 Strawberry brainrot, but it triples-and-then-some whatever that character's base cash/second output is, making it a meaningful upgrade on any valuable brainrot you care to protect.

Tie belongs to the rituals category, a distinct family of traits unlocked through specific in-game ritual events rather than standard Red Carpet attendance or seasonal holidays. During the Dul Dul Dul ritual, a graduation platform materialises at the start of the Red Carpet with a Brainrot School visible in the background. Any brainrot that steps onto that platform has a chance of walking away wearing the Tie trait — there is no guarantee, so timing and a bit of luck are both required. It can also surface during Admin Abuse events, limited drops run directly by the game's staff.

Because traits are permanent and stack multiplicatively with any Mutation your brainrot carries, a Tie-traited brainrot is a high-value trading asset the moment it spawns. Keep it deep in your base and away from rival runners — losing it to a steal hurts far more than losing an un-traited brainrot.
