TSB Accessories, Capes and Auras: Kill Requirements

Guide
By RBLXGUIDESunday, November 1, 20269 min read

Quick Summary

Every accessory, cape and aura in The Strongest Battlegrounds with its kill requirement, plus the Custom Cape, Guild Cape, removed items and monthly kill titles.

The wiki lists 42 cosmetics: 13 accessories, 14 capes and 15 auras. 37 of them carry a kill requirement, running from 0 kills for Blocky Body to 35,700 kills for Void Aura. The other five have no kill number: the Custom Cape (VIP gamepass, 299 Robux), the Guild Cape (group only), the old White Cape, and the removed Ripped Shirt and Kimono.

The table below is sorted by kill requirement. The numbers were read from the community wiki's Cosmetics page on 24 October 2026 and organised by us. That page was last edited on 28 October 2025, and the wiki's Updates page stops at 17 May 2026, so a newer item could exist that the wiki doesn't list yet.

Every accessory, cape and aura by kills

Ties keep the order the wiki uses. "Matches" means the wiki's own Matches section ties the item to a character or series. The "Added" dates come from the Updates page.

How the 37 numbered items spread out: 6 cost 1,000 kills or less, 8 sit between 1,001 and 5,000, 13 between 5,001 and 10,000, 6 between 10,001 and 20,000, and 4 above 20,000. The biggest steps in the list are two gaps of 5,000 kills: Shadow Aura (20,000) to Midnight Aura (25,000), and Midnight Aura to Gold Aura (30,000). Arithmetic on the wiki's kill rules (a finisher kill is worth 2): Void Aura's 35,700 kills equals 17,850 finisher kills if every kill were a finisher.

The five items with no kill number

ItemTypeHow you get itNotes

Guild CapeCapeGroup onlyThe Updates page for 21 January 2024 says to join the Yielding Arts group to get it free
White cape (old)CapeNo kill number listedGallery label is "(old)". The page never says it was removed
Ripped ShirtAccessoryRemovedMatches Destructive Cyborg (Genos)
KimonoAccessoryRemovedMatches Blade Master (Atomic Samurai)

The Cosmetics page says all cosmetics require kills to obtain, and its gallery labels the Custom Cape "VIP Gamepass" and the Guild Cape "Group only".

Custom Cape. Buying the VIP gamepass gives you the cape in white by default. You then change its colour and add an image from Settings, where the Settings page calls the entry "Customize VIP Cape" and the VIP page calls it "Customize Custom Cape". The image is a Roblox texture id, which the wiki says to take from the Roblox Marketplace Images section (the id is in the link). The codes page covers how those ids work.

Removed items. The gallery tags Ripped Shirt and Kimono as "removed". Ripped Shirt has an odd history in the Updates page: it was added on 14 February 2023 for the Cyborg's metal arms, removed on 11 June 2023, and re-added on 12 June 2023 because, in the entry's words, some people use it. The gallery still tags it as removed. The Updates entry for 21 January 2024 also says "certain cosmetics" were removed to prevent future issues, without naming them.

Rules that apply to all of them

  • You can wear at most two capes at once, but any number of non-cape cosmetics.
  • The requirement text on a cosmetic turns red when you don't meet it and green when you do (October 2023 update).
  • The cosmetics menu has three categories: Accessories, Auras and Titles (April 2024 update).
  • Cosmetics became cloth-like after the 21 January 2024 update, though some are animated and others sit static on the body.
  • Capes make a cloth-like sound as you move or jump.
  • Kills are 1 per kill and 2 per finisher kill, they don't count in private servers, and they do count in friendly duels. That comes from the Emotes page, not the Cosmetics page.

The Cosmetics page never says whether the kills it lists are lifetime or monthly. The Titles page is the one that says monthly, which is a different system (see below). Don't assume either.

The old Special Cosmetics gamepass and the rolling feature

The Special Cosmetics gamepass used to let you wear cosmetics without meeting the kill requirement. The Cosmetics page says it excluded the Custom Cape, the gamepass's own page says it excluded the Custom Cape and the group cape, and the Gamepasses page says it granted "every cosmetic in-game". It cost 99 Robux (75 earlier), and the gamepass's own page says it was removed as of July 2024.

The Cosmetics page says it was replaced "with the rolling feature". The Gifting page lists "1 Spin (Cosmetic)", "3 Cosmetics" and "5 Cosmetics" as things you can gift, with Robux only. Beyond that, the wiki doesn't explain how rolling works or whether a rolled cosmetic skips the kill requirement. The same page still says every cosmetic requires kills. The wiki contradicts itself here, and we can't settle it.

Kill titles

Titles are separate from accessories. The Titles page (marked Stub and Outdated, last edited 23 March 2026) says they depend on placement in monthly kills, not total kills, and don't persist after the monthly reset.

Hero RankMonster Threat LevelRequirement
C-ClassWolf2000th place or higher in monthly kills
B-ClassTiger400th place or higher in monthly kills
A-ClassDemon200th place or higher in monthly kills
S-ClassDragon100th place or higher in monthly kills
noneGod5th to 1st place in the current champions leaderboard

Which set you get follows the character: the page's example is Saitama for Hero Rank and Garou for Monster Threat Level. Ranked titles for 1v1 and 2v2 are listed as "TBA". Wolf, Tiger, Demon, Dragon and God also appear as rank names on the Ranked page, which says ELO rank is separate from your title.

History from the Updates page: titles went to the top 2000 players instead of the top 800 on 1 April 2023, requirements were lowered on 7 February 2023 with a warning that they would rise over time, and the 21 January 2024 entry says titles from kills and the duel leaderboard should now stack together.

For scale, the Leaderboards page (marked Outdated) lists the Current Champions as of 27 January 2026, from 54,300+ kills at number 1 down to 25,680+ at number 15. The page doesn't say whether "Current" means monthly.

Where the wiki is unclear or inconsistent

  • The 14 July 2025 update says "four new acquirable auras" were added and names none. The 15 auras in the table may or may not include them.
  • The Matches section lists "Spiral Cloth" for Hero Hunter (Monster Form), but no Spiral Cloth appears in either gallery tab. The Updates page mentions a Spiral cosmetic for Monster Garou on 15 June 2025 and says on 14 July 2025 that it is now unequippable.
  • The Matches section lists "Lightning Aura (OLD)", while the gallery has one Lightning Aura at 4,600 kills with no "old" label. The Auras gallery also puts Dark Aura (5,600) ahead of Lightning Aura (4,600).
  • "Conquerer Cape" in the Matches section is "Conqueror Cape" everywhere else.
  • Two white capes are in the gallery, "new" at 3,200 kills and "old" with no number, while the Matches section says only "White Cape".

FAQ

How many kills do you need for the best accessory in TSB?

The highest requirement on the wiki is Void Aura at 35,700 kills. The highest accessory proper is Slinky at 20,000 kills, and the highest cape is Ruler Cape at 17,500 kills.

How do you get the Custom Cape?

Buy the VIP gamepass (299 Robux) or be gifted it. The Cosmetics page says you can't grind kills for it.

How many capes can you wear at once in TSB?

Two. You can still wear several non-cape cosmetics at the same time.

What happened to the Special Cosmetics gamepass?

It is gone. It cost 99 Robux (75 earlier), and its page says it was removed as of July 2024. The Cosmetics page says a "rolling feature" replaced it.

Do kills in private servers count toward cosmetics?

The Emotes page says kills do not work in private servers and do work in friendly duels. The Cosmetics page doesn't repeat that rule.

How many auras are there in TSB?

The wiki's Auras tab lists 15, from Ki Aura at 4,000 kills to Void Aura at 35,700 kills. It also says four more acquirable auras were added in July 2025 without naming them.

Key Takeaways

  • Every character has 4 base moves and 4 more once awakened; the meter fills with damage dealt (350 for most).
  • Free characters need no kills: kills unlock accessories, capes, auras and emotes.
  • Kills in private servers do not count; a finisher is worth 2 kills.
  • The wiki documents no redeem codes; what people search as codes are Roblox IDs.
