Base damage: total of the 4 base moves from the wiki's Characters page. Meter: damage needed to awaken, from each character page (350 where the page gives no own figure, the standard the wiki states). M1: startup frames of the basic attack.

Method and limits

Tiers are fixed cuts on the wiki's base-moveset damage total: S from 85, A from 65, B from 55 and C below 55. The wiki lists the figure for twelve characters; Sorcerer is left out by the wiki because its moves kill in one hit, and the bosses and The Strongest Pirate have no total.

What the number does not capture: awakening moves (several are instant kills), how easily a kit links into combos, range and mobility, armor and counters, and the M1 string. A character in B can still be harder to fight than one in A. Use the tiers as a damage reference, and open each character for the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the strongest character in TSB?

By the wiki's damage totals for the base moveset, Destructive Cyborg is first with 89.5, just ahead of Tech Prodigy (89.2). That measures raw base-move damage only; awakening moves, combos and range change how a fight goes.

How is this tier list made?

The Characters page of the community wiki lists the maximum damage each character deals using only its 4 base moves. We sort by that number and cut tiers at fixed points: S from 85, A from 65, B from 55, C below. Nothing is play-tested.

Which character awakens fastest?

The Strongest Hero: its meter fills after 200 damage, against the standard 350 the wiki gives for most characters.
