Secret Special: Boosted Set

  • Any set boosts the next spike on that ball in three levels: ground sets a little, neutral or low-power side-tilt sets more, max-power side-tilt sets the most.
  • Boosts can stack when several Taichou players set in a row.
  • Sets snap toward the set direction, slow down, then keep flying that way (unlike Timeskip Kyamo's Super Set).

About Taichou

Taichou is a limited Secret Setter released on 2025-06-14 in Update 23, with returns on 2025-10-25, 2026-02-28 and 2026-07-11, the last one ending on 2026-07-18. Set 101, Jump 100, Speed 85, Serve 80 and Dive 65 carry the build, while Block 20 and Spike 45 give up the net.

The special, Boosted Set, boosts the next spike on that ball in three levels: ground sets add a little, neutral or low-power side-tilt sets more, and max-power side-tilt sets the most. Boosts can stack when several Taichou players set in a row, and sets snap toward the set direction, slow down and keep flying that way, unlike Timeskip Kyamo's Super Set.

By the site's stat formula Taichou is S tier as a setter (5th, 92.3) and A tier on the combined score (12th, total 531). Its stat line is identical to Feiko's, so the special is what separates the two. Mastery runs from a Sailor Flex Emote to a TAICHOU title. Secret odds are 0.01% normal and 0.5% Lucky at level 15 and above.
