Volleyball Legends tier list by stats

This list is built from numbers, not taste. Each style gets a score per role from the eight stats on its wiki page, and the scores are cut into S, A, B, C and D. The formula is below. It does not rate special moves or abilities, so read it next to each style's page.

Setter

Score = Set Γ— 0.5 + Speed Γ— 0.2 + Dive Γ— 0.15 + Jump Γ— 0.15

Blocker

Score = Block Γ— 0.5 + Jump Γ— 0.35 + Speed Γ— 0.15

Receiver (bump & dive)

How the scores work

Overall is the plain average of block, bump, dive, jump, serve, set, speed and spike. Each role weights the stats that position uses most. Styles are then sorted by score and split by share: S is the top 10%, A the next 20%, B 30%, C 25% and D the rest.

Limitations: the stats are the wiki's estimates, unconfirmed by the developers, limited styles you can no longer roll are included, and specials such as boosted sets or curved spikes are not scored. A B-tier style with the right special can beat an A-tier one in a real match.
