What are Volleyball Legends styles?
A style is the stat profile and special move you equip before a match. Volleyball Legends has 45 obtainable styles in seven rarities, 23 permanent and 22 limited, each rated on eight stats from block to spike. The wiki's stat template says the numbers are merely estimates that the developers have not confirmed, so treat every figure below as a guide.
The numbers here come from the Volleyball Legends Wiki as we read it on October 24, 2026. The stat totals are our own sums of the eight listed stats, and the role scores come from the formula behind our tier list. If you want a style by role instead of by raw stats, jump to best styles by position.
The seven rarities in numbers
| Rarity | Styles | Permanent | Limited | Avg total | Top total | Spin, Lv 15+ | Lucky spin, Lv 15+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 6 | 6 | 0 | 399.2 | Kishoti 440 | 62.5% | 0% |
| Rare | 4 | 4 | 0 | 431.3 | Ninyoku 450 | 35% | 50% |
| Legendary | 7 | 7 | 0 | 491.4 | Yokai 545 | 2% | 45% |
| Godly | 4 | 4 | 0 | 527.5 | Kyamo 580 | 0.495% | 4.75% |
| Secret | 19 | 2 | 17 | 525.5 | Kumo 623 | 0.01% | 0.5% |
| Ultra | 4 | 0 | 4 | 516.5 | Akari 540 | 0.005% | 0.25% |
| Evo | 1 | 0 | 1 | 500.0 | Encho 500 | 0.005% | 0.25% |
Rarity does not buy raw stats. Godly styles average 527.5, a hair above the Secret average of 525.5, and both beat the Ultra average of 516.5. The best Godly style, Kyamo at 580, tops every Ultra and the single Evo style. What the higher rarities add is a special move: the wiki describes one for all 24 Secret, Ultra and Evo styles and for none of the 21 Common to Godly styles. That special move is what the thin slices of the spin table are for, and our Lucky Spins guide breaks down the odds.
The Secret average hides a wide spread. Kumo tops the whole game at 623, while Hidari sits at 410, the 41st total of 45, because its table row is the Base form. Its Left Side form has serve and spike at 110, which is covered below.
The eight stats
| Stat | Highest | Styles at the top | Lowest | Styles at the bottom | Average | Styles at 100+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Block | 101 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 51.7 | 3 |
| Bump | 101 | 1 | 25 | 2 | 54.0 | 6 |
| Dive | 101 | 2 | 40 | 4 | 59.3 | 3 |
| Jump | 101 | 1 | 50 | 5 | 86.1 | 26 |
| Serve | 101 | 3 | 10 | 1 | 64.6 | 5 |
| Set | 101 | 6 | 25 | 5 | 57.2 | 10 |
| Speed | 100 | 4 | 15 | 2 | 54.6 | 4 |
| Spike | 100 | 10 | 20 | 1 | 66.2 | 10 |
A value of 101 on the wiki's stat template means more than 100%, drawn as a rainbow bar. The Styles page says the stat sheet shapes serve power, block strength, set speed, jump height and spike power. It never defines bump, dive or speed in a sentence. By name, bump and dive cover receiving on the ground and speed is how fast you move, and our own receiver score weights bump and dive at 40% each and speed at 20%. That reading is ours, not the wiki's.
Jump is the stat where styles cluster. Twenty-six of the 45 sit at 100 or more and only five sit at 50, so jump rarely decides between two styles. Spike is the opposite case. Ten styles reach exactly 100, nothing goes above it in the base tables, and the average of 66.2 is the highest of any stat except jump. Block is the stingiest stat at an average of 51.7, and one style, Kijo, has a block of 0. The wiki's Kijo page suggests back blocking for it instead of contesting at the net.
Stats move with patches. Kazana's release-day log raised dive, serve and speed and maxed bump, and on July 18, 2026 its spike dropped 10%. Encho's default speed fell to 35% that same day, then fell another 15% a week later. Shiro's spike went to 50% on August 29. Check the update log before trusting an old stat sheet.
Strongest style per stat
| Stat | Top value and styles | Next best |
|---|---|---|
| Block | 101: Mikage, Shiro | 100: Hirakumi |
| Bump | 101: Kumo | 100: Kazana, Kisuki, Kyoshin, Ninyoku, Sazuroku |
| Dive | 101: Kisuki, Kumo | 100: Ninyoku |
| Jump | 101: Kazana | 100: Akari, Bakuri, Encho, Feiko, Hakka, Hidari and 19 others |
| Serve | 101: Jinko, The Twins, Timeskip Okazu | 100: Okazu, Timeskip Kyamo |
| Set | 101: Feiko, Hakka, Kumo, Shiro, Taichou, Timeskip Kyamo | 100: Kisuki, Kyamo, The Twins, Timeskip Okazu |
| Speed | 100: Kisuki, Kumo, Sazuroku, Yokai | 85: Akari, Feiko, Hakka, Shiro, Taichou, The Twins, Timeskip Kyamo |
| Spike | 100: Akari, Bakuri, Ibara, Jinko, Kijo, Riku, Roketto, Ronin, Sanju, Uchikai | 90: Azmei, Kazana, Timeskip Hinto |
Kumo is at or tied for the top of four stats (bump, dive, set and speed), which is why it leads the totals. Kisuki is tied at the top for dive and speed and sits at 100 for both bump and set, so it ranks third overall at 616 while being a permanent style. Shiro's 617 comes from block 101, set 101 and jump 100 with solid speed. Spikers do worse on totals because spike never passes 100 while six other stats have styles above it. The best spiker by total is Kazana at 561, sixth overall, and the best Ultra spiker is Akari at 540, ninth. Totals are not role-neutral, which is why a role formula exists.

Notes on the table. The Twins shows its Akuto form, and its roles column lists all four roles that its two forms cover (the Type row on its wiki page lists only Server and Setter). Timeskip Hinto's spike reads 90 here, but the wiki shows a range of 90 to 120 because the Spike Meter raises it. Hidari and Yogan also have a second form, covered next. Perm means permanent and Ltd means limited.
Three styles that change shape
| Style | Form | Block | Bump | Dive | Jump | Serve | Set | Speed | Spike | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hidari | Base | 50 | 50 | 50 | 100 | 25 | 45 | 30 | 60 | 410 |
| Hidari | Left Side | 50 | 50 | 50 | 100 | 110 | 45 | 30 | 110 | 545 |
| Yogan | Base | 50 | 45 | 60 | 100 | 75 | 55 | 45 | 85 | 515 |
| Yogan | Rage Mode | 100 | 100 | 101 | 101 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 101 | 803 |
| The Twins | Akuto | 20 | 50 | 75 | 65 | 101 | 100 | 85 | 35 | 531 |
| The Twins | Okuro | 85 | 45 | 40 | 100 | 15 | 50 | 20 | 100 | 455 |
Hidari's Left Side form puts it at 545 on the same footing as Okazu and Yokai, so its 41st place is a base-form artifact. Spiking or serving with the ball near the left arm hitbox gives the Left Side hit, and the wiki's balance log shows its gravity cut on October 25, 2025 and slightly raised again on June 27, 2026. Yogan's Rage Mode is the biggest swing in the game: a Rage Meter fills from 7 sets, 7 bumps or 5 dives, Rage lasts 5 spikes, and the wiki's own balance log says the dive requirement was raised to 6, which contradicts the page body. The Twins swap forms with a key that has a 5 second cooldown, so one style covers Server and Setter as Akuto and Spiker and Blocker as Okuro.
Permanent versus limited
Permanent styles are every Common, Rare, Legendary and Godly style (21 of them) plus two Secrets, Kisuki and Sanju. Limited styles are 17 Secrets, all 4 Ultras (Akari, Hakka, Mamori, Ronin) and the Evo style, Encho. The five best permanent styles by total are Kisuki (616), Kyamo (580), Okazu (545), Yokai (545) and Kyoshin (530), so five of the top 14 totals belong to styles that never leave the shelf. If you only want a strong permanent style, the Godly and Legendary slices of the spin table are enough. For the schedule of limited styles, see our limited styles guide and the Secret styles guide.
The ninth stat bar
Nine styles carry a rainbow bar beyond the eight core stats. The wiki's stat template draws it as an extra labelled stat at over 100%, but it is not one of the eight and our totals leave it out. It always belongs to the style's own special mechanic.
| Style | Rarity | Ninth bar | What the wiki says it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Akari | Ultra | Dash | A Dash Meter charges passively every 10 seconds; the dash can be aimed and used in mid-air |
| Encho | Evo | Stretch | Arms stretch for every airborne action, farther the longer you stay in the air |
| Ibara | Secret | Wall | Vines grow on the court, block the ball and make it ricochet |
| Jinko | Secret | Spin | Tilts curve the ball on spikes and serves; the wiki calls it a buffed Curve Spike |
| Kijo | Secret | Tilt | Side-tilt spikes change direction; holding a tilt in the air charges up to a 2x multiplier |
| Mamori | Ultra | Parry | Blocking just as the ball arrives pushes opponents back; perfect timing stuns them |
| Riku | Secret | Wall | Looking outside the court while spiking makes hologram walls that bounce the ball |
| Roketto | Secret | Jetpack | Entering freefall ignites a jetpack, and tilting moves you in mid-air |
| Sanju | Secret | Tilt | Side-tilt spikes change the spike direction by a few degrees |
Six of the nine are Secret, two are Ultra and one is Evo, and Sanju is the only one that is permanent. The wiki notes that Ibara and Riku share the same Wall bar, and that Kijo shares the Tilt bar with Sanju. It does not say how any of these bars is measured.
How to pick from the table
Start from your role, then look at the stat that role needs. For a setter, look at set and speed, where six styles are at 101 for set. For a blocker, look at block and jump, where Mikage and Shiro are the only 101s. For a receiver, look at bump and dive, where Kumo, Kisuki and Ninyoku are at or near the top. For a spiker, spike and jump are nearly flat across the top styles, so special moves decide. You can browse every page in the styles section, including Shiro and Kisuki.
FAQ
How many styles are in Volleyball Legends?
45 obtainable styles as of October 24, 2026: 23 permanent and 22 limited, across seven rarities. An eighth label, Admin, covers one unobtainable style (LeBron James). The Styles page still says 23 permanent and 21 limited, which predates Mamori.
Which Volleyball Legends style has the highest stats?
By the sum of the eight listed stats, Kumo leads with 623, then Shiro with 617 and Kisuki with 616. Kisuki is permanent. The wiki says there is no single best style, and a role-specific ranking changes the order a lot.
What is the ninth stat bar on some styles?
Nine styles show a rainbow bar beyond the eight core stats: Akari (Dash), Encho (Stretch), Ibara (Wall), Jinko (Spin), Kijo (Tilt), Mamori (Parry), Riku (Wall), Roketto (Jetpack) and Sanju (Tilt). It always reads over 100% and is tied to the style's special move.
Are the Volleyball Legends style stats exact?
No. The wiki says stats are estimates the developers have not confirmed and that they may change. A value of 101 on the wiki means more than 100%. Balance patches also move numbers, so compare against the update log.
Does a higher rarity mean better stats?
Not by raw totals. Godly styles average 527.5, Secret 525.5 and Ultra 516.5, and the best Godly style (Kyamo, 580) beats every Ultra and the Evo style. Higher rarities mostly add a special move.
