En 99 Nights in the Forest, cada clase define tu rol en el squad — y Scavenger tiene un conjunto de perks que la hace única frente a las demás. Cuesta 25 Diamonds desbloquearla, lo que la coloca a un precio accesible para jugadores intermedios. El inventario inicial de esta clase se adapta bien tanto a exploración como a combate.

- ●It is a very good class for its price as nearly all of this class's abilities are useful.
- ○The "+2 sack space" ability is useful as it works with every sack and this means that the old sack spawns with 7 storage slots, giving a good headstart as the player can cut down two trees and store a coal at the start without having to make a second trip. This makes it useful in speedrunning.
- ○The "Open Chests 20% Faster" ability is not that useful to a normal player due to it being a small difference and not noticeable, this ability only has some use if the player is speedrunning as this can save time.
- ○The "Chance to get scrap as a bonus drop from chests" is a very good ability as scrap is a limited resource and this also enables players to get scrap easily and quickly at the start of the game, which is very useful in speedrunning.
- ●As mentioned by all the points above, this class is very good for speedrunning the game with a team due to the bonus scrap and the extra sack space which makes a huge difference in speedrunning.
