Fisch Enchanting Guide: How to Enchant Rods and Which Enchants to Pick

Resumen rápido

Where the altar is, what each relic type can roll, and which enchants the wiki recommends for money, XP, luck, stability and hunts, with the Sovereign pillar table.

How enchanting works in Fisch

This Fisch enchanting guía covers the part nobody explains in game: where you enchant, which relic gives which pool of enchants, and which enchant belongs on which rod. Every number comes from the Fisch Fandom wiki (read on octubre 24, 2026). The enchant list page is still tagged "Outdated" by its editors and counts 57 obtainable enchantments, so treat it as the best public source, not a verified one. We haven't tested any of these in the game.

The basics, in order:

1. Get a relic. The plain Enchant Relic is the one you will use most (more on every relic type in our relic guía).
2. Go to the Statue of Sovereignty, a small island north of Moosewood. Inside is the Sovereignty Cave and an elevator down to the Keeper's Altar.
3. Pay Cole, the elevator operator, 400 C$ per trip. If you have 100,000 C$, he gives you infinite Elevator Tokens and you never pay again.
4. Equip the rod you want to enchant, hold a relic and interact with the altar. The wiki says the altar only works at night.
5. The relic is consumed and a random enchant from that relic's pool is applied.

A rod holds one primary enchant at a time. Using another relic replaces it. That is the whole risk of enchanting: a bad roll on a rod you were happy with costs you the old enchant too.

Two shortcuts: buy the relics in bulk from Merlin on Sunstone Island (you need level 30), and use a Sundial Totem if night is still far away. The wiki says the totem costs 2,000 C$, is sold in a hidden cave east of Merlin's house and flips day to night (or the reverse) with a 1-minute cooldown. Merlin's Enchant Relic prices are 11,000 C$ for 1, 20,000 C$ for 2, 48,000 C$ for 5, 94,000 C$ for 10, 225,000 C$ for 25 and 440,000 C$ for 50. Buying 50 saves you about 110,000 C$ compared with fifty single purchases.

## Which relic gives which enchants

| Relic | Enchant type | Pool size on the wiki | Replaces your primary? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enchant Relic | Regular | 29 | Yes |
| Exalted Relic | Exalted | 8 | Yes |
| Twisted Relic | Twisted | 7 | Yes |
| Cosmic Relic | Cosmic (secondary) | 8 (the relic page says 9) | No, it adds on top |
| Song of the Deep / Invincible Relic | Quest | 2 | Quest enchants are listed separately |
| Sovereign Relic | Sovereign | 3 ranks, see below | Takes up both slots |
| evento relics (Eerie, Frightful, Spooky, Festive, Cupid and others) | evento | varies | varies |

Two rules from the wiki that save relics: the Exalted Relic cannot be stacked with other relic types, and an Exalted Relic rolls its enchants evenly the first time, then 1 in 7 afterwards, because it will never give the same Exalted enchant twice on one rod.

## Best Regular enchants by goal

The wiki gives a "best paired with" note for almost every enchant. These are the ones worth a relic.

Money. Chaotic gives a 12% chance for the fish to be Chaotic, and the wiki says that multiplies sell value by 6.2x. It also stabs the fish now and then like the Trident Rod. Scrapper gives a 60% chance not to consume bait, and the wiki recommends it for rods that use a lot of bait, such as the Mythical Rod or the Kraken Rod.

XP. Clever is x2.25 XP on every catch. Insight is x1.5 XP plus +30% Lure Speed and a 30% chance for Purified fish. The wiki calls Clever the better version of Insight and pairs both with the Great Rod of Oscar.

Luck. Divine is +50% luck, +20% Resilience and +25% Lure Speed, and is the stronger version of Lucky (+25% luck, +15% Lure Speed, +50% mutación chance). The wiki recommends both on low-luck rods like the Midas Rod. Storming and Breezed double their bonus during rain and wind. Storming gives +100% luck during rain and +50% outside it; Breezed gives +100% in windy weather and +50% outside it.

Stability. Resilient is +35% Resilience and +10% size. Steady is +20% progress speed while reeling and +0.05 control. Controlled is +0.15 control on its own. Unbreakable is +10,000 max kg, +0.1 control and +50 durability, and is the wiki's pick for rods with good estadísticas but a small weight limit.

Speed. Hasty is +55% Lure Speed, which the wiki calls the better Swift (+30% Lure Speed, +10% progress speed), except in areas where fish slow your progress by more than 80%. Flashline is a gamble: a 25% chance for +100% progress speed and a 75% chance for +15%.

Hunts. Hunter adds +2 Disturbance, which is the stat that raises your chance of summoning hunt fish. Our hunt fish guía explains where that stat comes in.

Relic farming. Scavenger gives a 3x chance to catch Enchant Relics, nukes, treasure maps and threads, plus 1.75x on Exalted Relics.

## Best Exalted enchants

An Exalted Relic is a gamble among eight. The wiki's list:

| Enchant | What it does |
|---|---|
| Quantum | 25% chance for the fish to be Subspace, +25% Resilience |
| Anomalous | 20% chance to catch a duplicate fish that is Anomalous (5.55x sell value) |
| Sea Overlord | +40% fish size |
| Immortal | +75% luck, +30% progress speed |
| Mystical | +25% luck, +45% Resilience, +15% Lure Speed, +10% progress speed |
| Herculean | +25,000 max kg, +0.2 control, +10% progress speed |
| Piercing | 30% chance to stab the fish while reeling, +15% progress speed |
| Ferocious | +4 Disturbance |

The wiki names Quantum the best general money enchant and Immortal the best for rods that apply mutaciones. Its two pages disagree on the Subspace multiplier: the Exalted Relic page says 5x and the enchant list says 6.4x. Either way Quantum is a strong pick. Note the wiki does not recommend Quantum or Anomalous for rods that already roll a specific mutación, such as Heaven's Rod or the Ethereal Prism Rod. A line in the enchant page's trivia says the opposite for Anomalous in theory, because it only mutates the duplicate fish and leaves the original to the rod's own passive.

One more tip from the wiki: Herculean is heavily recommended for low-control rods like the Blade of Glorp and the Rod of the Zenith.

## Cosmic enchants stack on top

Cosmic Relics don't replace your primary enchant. They add a second slot. The enchant list has eight: Cryogenic (a small chance to freeze a lured fish), Glittered (+3% Shiny and Sparkling), Overclocked (+5% progress speed on any fish), Sea Prince (+15% fish size), Tenacity (+20% progress speed per snapped reel in a row, stacking without limit), Tryhard (+30% progress speed, -0.1 control, +50,000 max kg), Vicious (+1 Disturbance, +10% progress speed) and Wise (x1.2 XP). The Cosmic Relic page says there are nine, adds Invincible (infinite max kg and fishing in any liquid), and gives Vicious +15% progress speed, so the two pages disagree.

Pairings the wiki points to: Sea Prince (the Cosmic Relic page says it is usually paired with Sea Overlord or Sea King) on a rod that already has one of those for even bigger fish, and Tryhard on a rod that already has plenty of control, such as the Brick Rod or Polaris Serenade.

## Twisted enchants: three of the seven are traps

Twisted Relics are sold by Merlin for 500,000 C$ with a 30-minute cooldown. The Twisted Relic page also lists a 0.05% Personal Aquarium drop, yet its trivia says it can't be caught naturally without admin eventos, so the page contradicts itself. The good ones trade one stat for another:

- Fractured: +50% progress speed, -0.1 control. For rods with plenty of control.
- Greed: +50% fish size, -30% Lure Speed, -5% progress speed. A money pick for rods that are already fast.
- Rage: 25% chance per fish movement to stab for +8% progress, -50% luck, -20% Resilience.

The bad ones: Putrid is -10% luck, Wobbly is -0.05 control and Weak is a penalty (the wiki's two pages disagree on whether it hits Resilience or max weight, both at -10%). The enchant list says none of these three is recommended because they only have debuffs, and tells you to find a better enchant for Putrid and Wobbly. Pharaoh's Curse gives 25% Sandy fish and the wiki calls it a worse version of Quantum.

## What changed with Sovereign relics

The 1.83.0 actualización added the Sovereign Relic and "Keeperbound" enchanting. The wiki's Sovereign Relic page says it's caught at 1 in 10,000 anywhere, or 1 in 150 inside Sovereign Beams, which the notas del parche say appear during Sovereign weather eventos. Sovereign enchants take up both your primary and secondary slots, and you only get them while a Power Burst is active and pillars at the altar are up. The wiki says you must place a regular Enchant Relic first, and the number of pillars you activate decides which enchants can roll:

| Pillars | Possible enchants |
|---|---|
| 1 | Steady Crown, Glimmering Crown, Stonewake Crown |
| 2 | Immortal Might, Swift Might, Magnitude Might |
| 3 | Menacing Spirit, Starforged Spirit, Propensity Spirit |

The number of pillars you can use depends on your Keeper's Level, which you raise through the Keeper Warden's quests: level 1 gives 1 pillar, level 2 gives 3, level 3 gives 4 and levels 4 and 5 give 6. Those level and pillar numbers are on the wiki's Enchanted Crevice page, whose editors mark it as a stub. Fishing in the crevice's purple pool raises the chance of a Power Burst, and the wiki lists 0.25% (5% during Sovereign weather). The notas del parche mention that Keeperbound rods lose power with use and can be repowered, but the wiki has no page for that mechanic yet.

## Mistakes to skip

- Don't spend a relic on a rod you plan to swap out soon. Enchants are applied to the equipped rod, so nothing moves to the next one.
- Don't put Hunter or Ferocious on a rod with no hunt focus unless you are specifically hunting.
- Don't roll Twisted on a rod with a weak stat that the enchant will lower further.

## Frequently asked questions

### Where do you enchant a rod in Fisch?
At the Keeper's Altar under the Statue of Sovereignty. You pay Cole 400 C$ for the elevator, or 100,000 C$ once for infinite tokens.

### Can you enchant during the day?
The wiki says the altar is only active at night, so use a Sundial Totem to skip ahead if it's day.

### Does a new enchant replace the old one?
Yes. A rod holds one primary enchant, and another relic replaces it. Cosmic enchants are the exception, because they go in a separate secondary slot.

### What is the best enchant for money?
The wiki points to Quantum for general money making, and lists Sea Overlord and Anomalous as enchants that can replace it. Chaotic is another mutación-based option. Which one fits depends on whether your rod already rolls a mutación.

### What is the best enchant for XP?
Clever, at x2.25 XP, ahead of Insight at x1.5 and Wise at x1.2.
