Resumen rápido

The wiki's ranked money spots, the Mineshaft grind, the sell-value formula with worked examples and the rods, enchants and eventos that raise earnings.

How money works in Fisch

A fish's sell price is its weight times its price per kilogram, then multiplied by any mutación. That is the whole economy, and it's why a 10 kg Crystal Geode can out-earn a 1,300 kg swordfish. Every fish page on the Fisch Fandom wiki lists a minimum, average and maximum weight and a C$-per-kg rate, so you can do the math yourself. All figures here come from the wiki (read on octubre 24, 2026). The ranked "best spots" come from the wiki's Walkthrough, which says its content is for version 1.74.0 (other wiki pages already mention version 1.86), so treat the exact C$ numbers as a snapshot. We haven't farmed these spots ourselves.

Three examples of average values, using the wiki's own numbers:

| Fish | Average weight | C$ per kg | Average value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scalding Swordfish (Legendary) | 1,300 kg | 1.6 | 2,080 C$ |
| Blisterback Blenny (Mythical) | 2,250 kg | 2.25 | 5,062.5 C$ |
| Crystal Geode (Legendary) | 10 kg | 333.3 | 3,333 C$ |

The Crystal Geode shows how much a mutación matters. The Walkthrough says a Mastered Crystal Geode is worth 20,000 to 30,000 C$. The mutaciones table lists Mastered as 8x, and 3,333 x 8 is about 26,700 (our arithmetic), so the two numbers agree. The wiki is not consistent here: the Walkthrough's own rod section says Mastered multiplies value by 9 (about 30,000 on a 3,333 C$ fish, still inside the range), and the mutaciones table says Mastered comes only from the Ruinous Oath, while the Walkthrough credits the Luminescent Oath.

## Best money spots, in the Walkthrough's order

The Walkthrough ranks these from most to least money, using player experience.

### 1. Volcanic Vents

This is the first layer of Mariana's Veil. You reach it by taking the Submarine down and walking through the vents. The wiki's Levels table lists the Submarine at level 70, and the Submarine page says you build it from parts you drill out of rocks for Dr. Glimmerfin. The wiki calls it the best place to farm money during the day, since the Scalding Swordfish (Legendary) and Blisterback Blenny (Mythical) are very common by day. The Walkthrough quotes 2,080 C$ and 7,312 C$ for them. The Blenny's own page lists an average of about 5,062 C$. The 7,312 is probably a heavier-than-average catch: at 2.25 C$ per kg it works out to roughly 3,250 kg, inside the page's 737 to 5,519.9 kg range (our arithmetic). Expect a range.

The costs of entry:

- You must have a Glimmerfin Suit Lvl 1, crafted from a Lava Crystal, an Inferno Hide, a Blisterback Blenny and an Infernal Iguanafish, all found in the Vents. It slows the temperature rise.
- The fish apply -60% progress speed, so you need good Resilience or Control.
- The wiki says you can fish here with any rod despite the lava, but touching the lava kills you instantly.

The Magma Leviathan (Exotic) can show up here very rarely, averages about 17,857 C$ and applies -100% progress speed. It's also needed to progress past the Calm Zone gate.

### 2. Kraken Pool

At the bottom of Atlantis. The Walkthrough says you reach it by completing all 4 Atlantis puzzles, while the Kraken Pool page describes 4 trials plus a fifth wheel to activate, so the wiki phrases the requirement two ways. The Walkthrough says the Legendary and Mythical fish here sell for about 3,040 C$ and 5,770 C$. The Kraken (an Exotic hunt fish averaging about 23,958 C$ per its page) can be caught here during a Kraken Hunt and appraised. The downside, per the Walkthrough: the fish are harder to hook and it's a long trip.

### 3. The Depths

Past the Vertigo gate. The Legendary and Mythical fish sell for over 1,150 C$ and 2,250 C$, and the Walkthrough says the fish are easy to hook. The Depths also raise the Enchant Relic chance to 1 in 100, and an Absolute Darkness event can open a small, short-lived fishing spot where the Ancient Depth Serpent (about 6,000 C$ on average) can be caught. The Walkthrough calls the Depths "mediocre" nowadays because the Vents fish are almost as common and sell for more, but it says the place still has its niches.

### The Mineshaft grind (late-mid game)

The Walkthrough's best late-mid-game money method uses a Luminescent Oath in The Chasm's Mineshaft:

1. Finish Merlin's quest at the peak of Sunstone Island. It needs 4 shards from 4 obbies, opened by rifts Merlin spawns every 20 minutes. After that, Merlin can send you into The Chasm.
2. Buy an Aurora Totem at the Brine Pool. The Aurora Totem page says it now costs 500,000 C$ (it was 5,000,000 before a currency change, and the Totems list page still shows the old price). The same page says the Daily Shop sells it for 400,000 C$, and that the Brine Pool totem disappears and respawns at a random place once bought. It starts an Aurora Borealis with 7x luck for the server at night, which the wiki says is additive and doesn't stack with server luck.
3. Take Merlin's shop buffs and use Personal Aquarium potions. Merlin's page lists 5,000 C$ temporary luck, lure and XP boosts, each on a 5-minute cooldown, but its changelog note says the luck option was removed in version 1.58.0, while the Walkthrough (1.74.0) still tells you to get Merlin's luck buff. The wiki contradicts itself, so check Merlin's shop yourself.
4. Use a Glitched Potion, which the Walkthrough says duplicates every fish you catch.
5. Fish with high-luck bait such as Mist Worms or Weird Algae.

The Walkthrough claims a 60-70% chance for a Crystal Geode per catch during an Aurora Borealis with those boosts, and about 2 to 3 million C$ per Aurora (around 15 minutes at most, if you use the totem at the start of night), or 5 to 6 million with a Glitched Potion. These are community numbers on the page, not measurements, and the wiki has no page for the Glitched Potion itself (the Personal Aquarium page lists it as a 1% reward).

## The rods that make money

The Walkthrough's money rods, in order: the Luminescent Oath for late-mid game, then the Ruinous Oath, which it calls a much better version. The wiki calls the Ethereal Prism Rod (3,500,000 C$ and level 250, bought in the Calm Zone) a money-making all-rounder thanks to a 50% chance for the Prismize mutation. The Halibut Harpoon (50,000,000 C$ at Monty's Lab per its infobox) is described as great for money making through its three high-multiplier mutaciones. The full cost and requirement table is in our rod progression guía.

The cheapest option here is the Midas Rod (55,000 C$ at the Travelling Merchant), which puts the Midas mutation (2.5x) on every fish, though its -30% Resilience makes strong fish hard. Its page calls it an early-mid-game rod but also says it has less earning power than the Mythical Rod and lists it as one of the worst rods to buy, so don't treat it as a money shortcut.

## Enchants that raise sell value

The wiki's Enchantments page (tagged Outdated) points to these for money:

- Quantum (Exalted): a 25% chance for the Subspace mutation. The wiki calls it a great money enchant, and its trivia names it the best mutación-based enchant (about 1.95x average value per fish).
- Anomalous (Exalted): a 20% chance to duplicate the fish as Anomalous (5.55x).
- Sea Overlord (Exalted) and Sea King: +40% and +30% fish size.
- Chaotic: 12% chance for Chaotic, listed as 6.2x sell value on the Enchantments page. The mutaciones table lists Chaotic as 8x, and the Enchantments trivia strikes Chaotic through, so treat it with caution.
- Greed (Twisted): +50% fish size for a -30% Lure Speed and -5% progress speed. The wiki says to pair it with rods that already have high Lure Speed and progress speed.

Our enchanting guía explains which relic gives which of these.

## Eventos and mutaciones that multiply earnings

- Rainbow weather: all fish sell for 1.5x, luck is 8x and Mythical and Rainbow Cluster mutations have boosted chances. It's rare naturally (about 1 in 833 at the start of a day) and a Rainbow Totem summons it.
- Aurora Borealis: 7x luck at night, with 1% of fish getting the Aurora mutation.
- Mutation Surge: +15% chance for mutaciones anywhere or when appraising. A Mutation Totem (250,000 C$) starts one.
- Admin events: the Blackout event doubles sell value and Goldstorm doubles it too. Admins run these, and the wiki says they don't occur naturally (that section of the Server Events page is tagged Outdated).

See our mutaciones guía for the multipliers.

## The Appraiser

The Appraiser in Moosewood rerolls a fish's weight and can add a mutación. The wiki's NPC box says it charges 30% of the fish's value, and that the cost rises with weight and mutaciones, so appraise clean fish. Shiny and Sparkling stay after appraising, but any other mutación is lost. The wiki says mutaciones are more common during Mutation Surges, Shiny Surges and Night of the Luminous, so a rare, clean fish during one is the natural time to pay for an appraisal (our reading).

## XP grinding, briefly

For XP, the Walkthrough points to the Carrot Garden, where a Carrot Shark gives about 35,000 XP with the Great Rod of Oscar and the Clever enchant. Its fish page lists 11,520 base XP, so the 35,000 figure assumes the rod and enchant multipliers. The numbers fit: the Walkthrough gives the rod a 1.35x XP boost and the Enchantments page gives Clever x2.25, and 11,520 x 1.35 x 2.25 is about 34,990 (our arithmetic).

## What to avoid

- Don't enter the Vents without the suit. The Walkthrough calls it mandatory.
- Don't count on the Walkthrough's C$ figures as exact: it's a 1.74.0 snapshot and the fish pages show lower averages in at least one case.
- Don't appraise a fish that already has a great mutación, since you lose it.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best money spot in Fisch?
The Walkthrough ranks Volcanic Vents first, then Kraken Pool, then The Depths. For late-mid game, it recommends the Mineshaft with a Luminescent Oath.

### How is a fish's value calculated?
Weight times its C$-per-kg rate, then multiplied by any mutación. For example, 1,300 kg times 1.6 C$ per kg gives 2,080 C$.

### How much does the Aurora Totem cost?
500,000 C$ at the Brine Pool, according to the wiki, or 400,000 C$ at the Daily Shop. It previously cost 5,000,000 C$.

### Is the Appraiser worth it?
Per the wiki, it charges about 30% of the fish's value and removes any mutación except Shiny and Sparkling. The wiki recommends appraising clean fish because the price rises with weight and mutaciones, and says mutaciones are likelier during surges.

### What is the best rod for money?
The Walkthrough names the Luminescent Oath, then the Ruinous Oath. The wiki also calls the Ethereal Prism Rod a strong money maker.
