Cuando egg está activo, las reglas de mutación cambian para los cultivos compatibles. Los jugadores que conocen el sistema de clima en Grow a Garden siempre tienen plantaciones listas para aprovechar el efecto en cuanto aparece — y los que no lo conocen suelen perder la ventana entera.

El timing lo es todo con el clima en Grow a Garden. Cuando egg aparece, los jugadores que ya tienen cultivos en crecimiento son los que más se benefician. Prepararse de antemano siempre supera la reacción en el momento.

Pet Eggs can be purchased from the Pet Egg Shop, which refreshes every 30 minutes, or through different limited eventos and crafting. Hatching eggs is required in order to obtain a pet (with a few exceptions such as the Panda, Bald Eagle and Blood Owl and other pets); A player can hatch an egg by equipping an egg from their inventory and placing it on any space of their plot. Then, the player waits until the egg hatches. The player can speed up the process by choosing to skip its growth which costs , or the player can use pets that decrease the hatch time such as Kiwis, Chickens, Roosters, Bald Eagle, Chicken Zombie, Sunny-Side Chicken or Blood Kiwis. The player can only hatch 3 eggs at a time at minimum and can be increased by buying in the shop with and/or trading aged pets, where the player can add up to 5 extra slots. Another 5 extra slots can be unlocked by purchasing 5 egg slot upgrades with 40 Garden Coins each in the ascension shop. In conclusion, the maximum number of eggs placed down in a garden is 13 eggs.
