Eggs — July 2026
Eggs are how you obtain pets in Grow a Garden. The Pet Egg Shop rotates fourteen eggs at a time, and limited-time eggs appear during seasonal events. Every egg has a published hatch table that shows the percentage chance for each pet inside — Common pets are guaranteed at 50%+ rates, while Divine and Mythical pets sit at fractions of a percent.
Use this list to plan your egg-buying. Sort by cost to find the cheapest path to a starter pet, or scan the hatch tables to maximize your chance at a specific rare pet. Frequently Asked Questions
How many eggs are there in Grow a Garden?
The game currently has 221 eggs tracked in our database, including both permanent shop eggs and limited event eggs. Over 95 of those are limited-time event eggs that were only available during specific seasonal events.
Which permanent egg gives the best pets for the price?
It depends on your goal. The Common Egg (10-minute hatch, almost always in stock at 99%) is great for quick pets like the Dog at 33.33% odds. For higher-tier pets, the Legendary Egg offers Silver Monkey at 42.55% and Sea Otter at 10.64%, though it has only a 16% chance to be in stock in the shop.
What are the rarest pets you can hatch from eggs?
Divine-tier pets are the hardest to get. The Diamond Panther and Ruby Squid each have only a 0.5% hatch chance from the Gem Egg. The Carnival Elephant drops at 0.5% from the Carnival Egg, and the Fennec Fox has a 0.5% chance from the Oasis Egg. Event divine pets like the Disco Bee from the Bizzy Bee event are similarly rare.
What is the hatch time for different egg types?
Common Egg hatches in 10 minutes, Uncommon Egg in 20 minutes, Rare Egg in 2 hours, Bug Egg and Jungle Egg in 8 hours, and many event eggs like the Bee Egg, Zen Egg, Spooky Egg, and Winter Egg take 4 hours and 10 minutes. The Common Summer Egg hatches in 20 minutes.
Are limited event eggs worth saving?
Yes — limited eggs often have unique divine or mythical pets that can never be obtained again after the event ends. For example, the Primal Egg from the Prehistoric Event was the only way to hatch a Spinosaurus (0.5% divine) or a Dilophosaurus (mythical). If you have leftover event eggs, hatch them before time runs out.
