How do you give your pet a mutation?
There are two ways. You can place your pet in the Mutation Machine found in the game world, or you can use a Pet Mutation Shard gear item. Shards are faster because you just click directly on the pet you want to mutate without needing the machine at all.
Are pet mutations permanent?
Yes, pet mutations are permanent. Once a mutation is applied to your pet, it stays on that pet forever. You cannot accidentally remove it during normal play, so choose carefully which mutation you want before applying one.
Which pet mutations are the rarest or hardest to get?
Limited event mutations are the hardest to find. Mutations like Christmas Rally, Frost Squirrel, Jolly Decorator, and Elder Candy Blossom only appear during specific seasonal events.
