How many Godly weapons are there in MM2?
The wiki's Godly Weapons page says 124, but its own table has 129 rows, and the three Godlys added in the Halloween Event 2026 bring the combined list to 132. Of those, only 21 can be obtained without trading as of octubre 25, 2026. The other 111 are trade-only.
That answer comes with a catch: the number depends on which wiki page you count. The section below lays out the disagreement, and the rest of this guía sorts every Godly knife and gun by how it was first obtained, with the year, so you can tell at a glance what is still in the game's shop and what only exists in other players' inventories. Why the wiki's Godly count disagrees with itself
Three places on the Murder Mystery 2 wiki count Godly weapons, and they do not match.

Three details explain most of the gap:
- Four Evo knives are in the table but not in the category. Reaver, Icecrusher, Gingerscythe and Synthwave are gamepass knives that start as Rare and evolve through Legendary and Godly into Ancient. The Godly table lists their third stage, but their pages sit in the Evo category and the final stage is Ancient. Ornament, the 2025 Christmas gifting knife, is also in the table without the Godly category on its page.
- Three 2026 Godlys are in the category but not in the table. Embersickle, Mortal and Immortal are Godly pages from the Halloween Event 2026 that the table has not caught up with. They bring the knife count to 85, which happens to match the intro text, while the gun count (47) does not come close to 39.
- The intro text looks stale. Its gun figure is the one that is clearly out of date, since the table alone has seven more guns than the text says.
This guía uses the widest reasonable list: the 129 table rows plus Embersickle, Mortal and Immortal, for 132 entries. Four of those are Evo knives, which are Godly only in the middle of their evolution. If you want a strict count, take away those four and the number is 128.
Chroma versions are not included in any of these counts. They are separate items, covered near the end of this guía.

The sections below walk through each group.
Classic boxes: the Godlys you can still unbox
Twelve Godlys come from the permanent shop boxes, which the wiki lists as costing 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds or 1 Mystery Key each. The Godly in each box has a 0.2% chance (1 in 500) according to the box pages, and its chroma twin sits at 0.004%.

The wiki notes that Knife Box 1 was the first knife box in the game, released in 2014, and that it cost 200 Coins before Season 1 raised the price to 1,000. Each box also holds Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary weapons at much higher odds (70%, 15%, 10% and 5% on Knife Box 1). You can compare their full drop tables on our cajas page.
Crafting: the Seers and the removed recipes
Crafting is the other route to a Godly besides opening a box or trading.
The Seers. Seer is crafted with 20 Legendary shards, which you collect by salvaging Legendary weapons (each salvage gives 2 shards, so ten Legendaries). The Random Painted Seer recipe costs 10 Godly shards and 10 Godly metal and gives one random result among Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Purple Seer and the chroma version, Chroma Seer. The five painted Seers are Godly; Chroma Seer is a chroma. You can also salvage a Godly to recover about one Godly shard (or one Godly metal if it is a Seer).
The wiki says only weapons labelled Classic can be salvaged, so evento weapons, Ancients and Season 1 weapons cannot be used for materials.
Removed recipes. Six more Godlys were crafted from recipes that have since been removed:
- Christmas Event 2015: Green Luger and Red Luger (a Luger plus 75 Gifts each), Chill (a Heat plus 100 Gifts) and Handsaw (a Saw plus 100 Gifts).
- Christmas Event 2018: Ginger Luger, from a Luger's Gold Bar and a Gingerbread Cookie taken from a Gingerblade.
- Flames: a godly knife whose recipe used Godly shards, metal, a Fire Orb and a Water Orb (obtained by salvaging Heat and Tides). The recipe was removed in 2019.
The wiki contradicts itself on Flames. The Godly table says it could be crafted during Christmas Event 2016 and Christmas Event 2017, while Flames' own page says the recipe was dropped when Season 1 launched, and the Crafting page lists it as removed for "Value decrease" without a date. The Season 1 page gives duplication concerns as the reason. Its page also says Flames was the first Ancient knife before being lowered to Godly in Season 1 after the 2017 duping glitch; see our Ancient weapons guía for that story.
Yearly event boxes: 26 Godlys, one still open
Most Halloween and Christmas events since 2015, plus the Summer and Valentine's events of recent years, have a themed box with one Godly in it. Evento box odds are not the same as the classic ones: the wiki lists the Godly at 0.2% for the recent boxes, and gives looser figures such as "under 1%" for older ones.

Only the 2026 Halloween Box is open right now. The wiki says it costs 600 Candies or 1 Halloween Key, and the Halloween Event 2026 runs from octubre 18 to noviembre 16, 2026. Embersickle is its top prize at 0.2%.
One wiki detail to note: the Embersickle infobox says "Formerly" next to the box, but its lead sentence, the box page and the evento page all describe the box as currently open. We treat it as available through the evento. After it closes, Embersickle moves to the trade-only group like the 25 before it.
Battle pass and tier rewards
Six Godlys were the late-tier rewards of an evento battle pass or reward track:
- BattleAxe II (Halloween Event 2018, a tier reward)
- Bat and Makeshift (Halloween Event 2022, the Zombies and Survivors team reward tracks, 20th tier for 50,000 Candies)
- Sunset (Summer Event 2025, 25th tier for 90,000 Beach Balls)
- Raygun (Halloween Event 2025, 25th tier for 90,000 Candies)
- Snowcannon (Christmas Event 2025, 30th tier for 100,000 Snow Tokens)
In many years the very top tier was an Ancient instead; the Ancient weapons guía covers those.
Gamepasses, item packs and bundles: 58 Godlys
This is the largest group because Robux purchases tied to eventos have been the standard way to release new Godly pairs (a knife and a gun) since 2016. Almost all of them are now off sale.

The Evo entries (Reaver, Icecrusher, Gingerscythe, Synthwave) are different from the rest: they cannot be traded, and they only count as Godly while the player is partway through the 864,000 XP climb to Ancient.
As of the wiki's Gamepasses list, the Mortal Gamepass (1,699 Robux), the Immortal Gamepass (1,699 Robux) and the Mortal Bundle (3,399 Robux, adding the Smolder effect) are the only Godly passes marked Available. The wiki describes the bundle as a limited-time offer for the Halloween Event 2026. The Gamepasses page intro says only three passes are on sale, while its table marks five as Available (Elite, Radio, Mortal, Immortal and the Mortal Bundle), so treat that intro number as out of date too.
Gift exchange, evento shops and merch
Three smaller routes make up the last 18 Godlys, and none of them can be used today.
Gift exchange (7). Lugercane (2019), Jinglegun (2020), Swirly Blade (2021), Gingermint (2022), Evergun (2023), Bauble (2024) and Ornament (2025) were all bought during Christmas events by giving 100 Gifts to other players. The wiki calls Ornament the seventh Godly obtained through gifting.
evento shops, currency and challenges (6). Xmas (2015, 75 Gifts in the evento menu), Spider (Halloween Event 2015, completing the Bingo Challenges), Ice Dragon (2016, 750 Blue Tokens), Hallow's Blade (2017, 100 Candies from 2016), and Frostsaber and Snowflake (Christmas Event 2017, bought with Snowflake Tokens).
Merch (5). Eternal (2016), Eternal II (2018), Eternal III (2019), Eternalcane (2019) and Eternal IV (2020) were sold as MM2 merch through shopmm2.com. The wiki says they are now only obtainable through trading, and the Eternalcane page adds that the merch has sold out.
Which Godlys can you get without trading today?
As of octubre 25, 2026, the wiki lists 21 Godly weapons that are not trade-only:
- Twelve classic box Godlys: Deathshard, Fang, Saw, Slasher, Tides, Heat, Luger, Shark, Laser, Gemstone, Lightbringer and Darkbringer.
- Six Seers: Seer, Red Seer, Orange Seer, Yellow Seer, Blue Seer and Purple Seer, through crafting.
- Three from Halloween Event 2026: Embersickle (from the box, while the evento lasts), and Mortal and Immortal (Robux gamepasses, with the Mortal Bundle limited to the evento).
The other 111 can only be reached through trading. Their rarity comes from how they were obtained, which year, and whether the source can ever return, not from any fixed formula. Trade value is a separate question: values come from community value lists that change over time, and we do not publish them on this site.
Godly chromas
Chroma weapons are colour-shifting versions of Godlys. The wiki counts 46 chroma weapons in total, of which 44 are Godly chromas and 2 are Ancient chromas (Chroma Emberbow and Chroma Emberscythe). Every permanent box lists a chroma twin at 0.004% in the same box, and so do the 2026 Summer and Halloween boxes. Other event boxes print different or unknown chroma chances. Chroma Seer comes from the Random Painted Seer recipe. Other chromas came from evento tiers, gifting or gamepasses. The Chroma Weapons page lists most of them as only obtainable through trading now, although the pages for Chroma Mortal and Chroma Immortal describe them as obtainable with the 2026 Halloween gamepasses.
