About Rubber
Cannot be ankle broken, and punishes you for trying: that is the short version of Rubber, the zone of the Rubberman style. Rubberman Style + Zone arrived on 16 August 2025 according to the Update Log, and the zone rolled at 0.25% per normal spin (about 400 spins on average) and 1% per Lucky Spin until its Limited banner ended.
When you ankle-break someone while it is active, a nearby enemy is stunned. Combined with the immunity, that makes it a rare two-sided zone: it protects you against the most common dribble punish and gives you an offensive reward at the same moment. The wiki recommends all-rounder styles for this reason, since the zone adds both defense and offense.
Rubberman, the style it was made for, is exactly such an all-rounder, inspired by Luffy. Gear Switch flips between a defensive and an offensive gear every 15 seconds at most, Gum Block stretches an arm to grab a shot, and Observe prepares you to dribble past any steal for the next 4 seconds.
