Grow a Garden 2 Ghoul Garden Gear: What to Buy

Guide
By RBLXGUIDESunday, October 11, 20268 min read

Quick Summary

The full Ghoul Garden Gear Shop: Candy Corn prices, stock chances and effects for the Candy Basket, Witch's Broom, Bat Charm, Necromancer Staff and the Cider tools.

The Ghoul Garden has its own Gear Shop, and it sells a mix of normal garden tools with a Halloween name and some very strange new gear: a flying broom, a bat transformation and a staff that claims every wild pet on the map. This guide goes through the whole Ghoul Garden shop as published on the Grow a Garden 2 Fandom wiki, with prices in Candy Corn, the chance that each item shows up in the stock and what it really does.

!The Candy Basket gear

The wiki dates this gear to October 1, 2026. A few pages are still marked as stubs and a few Robux prices say "TBA", so take the numbers as the latest published values. You enter the Ghoul Garden by talking to Ethan at the Explorer Stand.

## How the shop works

The wiki explains that the Gear Shop (run by the NPC George) keeps a rotating stock. On each restock, every item has its own chance to be offered and a range for how many you can buy. That is why a mythic item can be missing for a long time: the Bat Charm only has a 1% chance to appear, and the Cauldron Charm only 0.56%.

Some entries are not for sale. The wiki lists Web, Bone, Brain and Pumpkin Guts in the shop table as cauldron ingredients that you get from monsters or pumpkins, not by paying. We explain them in our Witch's Cauldron guide.

## The growth gear: Cider tools

!Cider Watering Can

The Cider family is the Halloween version of the usual watering cans and sprinklers. The Cider Watering Can is the cheapest item in the shop, at 2,000 Candy Corn with a 90% stock chance, and it boosts crop growth and removes decay from a crop. If you only need to speed up a few plants, this is the best value on the list.

The Super Cider Sprinkler is the premium choice. Once placed, all nearby plants grow 5x faster and the chance of larger plants goes up by 100 for 2 minutes, according to the wiki. At 3,000,000 Candy Corn and a 1.2% chance to stock, it is also a rare sight.

!Super Cider Sprinkler

The Super Cider Watering Can is the strongest watering can here: the wiki says it increases growth speed by 300x temporarily, for 1,000,000 Candy Corn at a 2% chance. The four lower sprinklers (Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary) cost 3,000, 10,000, 80,000 and 1,200,000 with falling stock chances of 50%, 35%, 25% and 4%.

## Fun and tricky gear

### Witch's Broom

!Witch's Broom

The Witch's Broom lets you ride a flying broom for 30 seconds, then wait 60 seconds before using it again. It costs 3,000,000 Candy Corn, but the wiki shows a 100% stock chance, so it is the one fun item that should always be there. You can also brew it in the cauldron.

### Bat Charm

!Bat Charm

The Bat Charm turns you into a flying bat for 3 minutes. That is long enough to fly around the whole map, but the price is 5,000,000 Candy Corn and a 1% chance to appear.

### The Bone

!The Bone

The Bone turns you into the Werewolf for 30 seconds and lets you steal from anyone. It is consumed when used. At 300,000 Candy Corn and a 10.8% chance it is the cheapest of the tricky gear, and it is also a cauldron recipe.

### Necromancer Staff

!Necromancer Staff

The Necromancer Staff claims every wild pet on the map at once, for free, and is consumed on use. The wiki adds one detail: the pets can still be bought by other players while they walk to the owner's plot. It is mythic, costs 5,000,000 Candy Corn and has a 1% chance to stock. See the wild pets you can claim with it.

### Witch Hat Costume

!Witch Hat Costume

The Witch Hat Costume puts a small pointed hat with a buckle on one pet, forever. The shop price is 2,000,000 Candy Corn, and its stock chance is not published yet. Pick the pet carefully, since it applies to only one.

## The Candy Basket

!The Candy Basket jumpscare

The Candy Basket lets you trick or treat at the shopkeepers after dark. There is a 75% chance of a treat and a 25% chance of a scare, and if it fails you get jumpscared for 1 second. The gear is consumed on use. A successful treat gives a bonus depending on the NPC:

| NPC | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Sam (Seed Shop) | Restocks the Seed Shop early |
| George (Gear Shop) | Restocks the Gear Shop early |
| Charlotte (Props Shop) | Restocks various crates |
| Steven (Sell Stand) | Refreshes the Daily Deal cooldown |

The Daily Deal bonus from the basket is capped at 2,000,000. In practice, this makes the Candy Basket a tool for shop hunters: if you are waiting for a rare item such as a Bat Charm, an early George restock is another roll for the stock.

## Magic Mail

The three Magic Mail items (Rare, Legendary and Super) send one of your items from the Ghoul Garden back to your own Garden Valley mailbox. The wiki's Super Magic Mail page lists a long set of item types that can be sent, including harvested fruits, pets, seeds, sprinklers, watering cans, crates, props and eggs. That makes Magic Mail the way to move something valuable out of the event map.

## How long until an item shows up?

Each stock chance is per restock, and the wiki gives every item its own chance. If we assume each restock is independent, the average wait is simply 1 divided by the chance. This is our own arithmetic on the wiki numbers, so real luck can be much better or worse.

| Gear | Stock chance | Average restocks until it appears |
|---|---|---|
| The Bone | 10.8% | about 9 |
| Candy Basket | 2.17% | about 46 |
| Super Cider Watering Can | 2% | 50 |
| Super Cider Sprinkler | 1.2% | about 83 |
| Bat Charm, Necromancer Staff | 1% | 100 |
| Cauldron Charm | 0.56% | about 179 |
| Super Magic Mail | 0.015% | about 6,667 |

The wiki does not publish how often the shop restocks in the Ghoul Garden, so we cannot turn these into minutes. What the table does show is that the Candy Basket's early restock for George can matter, and that the Super Magic Mail is meant to be extremely rare.

## What should you buy first?

This is our own reading of the numbers, not tested advice.

1. Cider Watering Can. Very cheap and almost always in stock.
2. A Cider Sprinkler tier you can afford. The Common and Uncommon ones are easy early buys.
3. The Bone. If you want a quick steal at a low price.
4. Witch's Broom. The broom is always available, so you can save up for it.
5. Mythic gear only when you have extra Candy Corn. The Bat Charm, Necromancer Staff and Cauldron Charm are fun but they cost millions and appear rarely.

You can read how to earn the Candy Corn for all this in our Candy Corn guide.

## Quick questions

Which gear is always in stock? The wiki lists the Witch's Broom at 100%.

Is the Cauldron Charm worth it? Only if you brew risky recipes, because it rescues a failed brew and is consumed.

Can I buy these with Robux? Some of them, such as the Magic Mail items and the Super Cider Sprinkler. For many entries the Robux price is still "TBA" on the wiki.
