With the Oasis Egg you were rolling against the egg's other residents and hoping the legendary slot landed, but the Harvest Shop option let players who saved event currency simply purchase a guaranteed Sand Snake instead of fighting the odds. On worth, the Sand Snake is a solid legendary-tier desert pet, but its event-locked status is the real story now. Both the Oasis Egg and the Harvest Shop closed when Summer Harvest ended, so fresh copies are no longer obtainable and trading is the only way in. If you secured one through the shop during the event, you got the best possible deal; latecomers pay market rates.
