Luck — In-Depth Analysis

The Luck event is one of Grow a Garden's most misunderstood weather states, because right now it is purely visual — its actual feature is capped by the developers. When Luck rolls, you will see the on-screen flair and ambiance, but it does not currently shift drop rates, mutation odds, or rarity rolls in any measurable way. Treat any guide that promises a luck-boosted harvest with deep skepticism: the mechanic simply is not active.

That status matters for how you spend your time. Do not reorganize your plots or hold off on selling waiting for a luck-driven jackpot — there is no hidden multiplier to exploit, so keep farming your normal mutation events like Rain, Frost, and Thunderstorms exactly as you would otherwise. The smart move is to ignore Luck operationally and stay focused on weather that genuinely changes outcomes.

The one thing worth watching is patch notes. A capped feature is often a placeholder for something the developers intend to switch on later, so when Luck eventually gains real effects, early players who already understand the event will be positioned to capitalize before the wider playerbase catches on.
