About Gilded

Gilded is one of the oldest Basic auras in Sol's RNG, present since before the Main Update. It rolls at 1 in 512, so with ordinary luck you can expect roughly 512 rolls per copy, and about 51 if you stack 10x luck. Inside the Sandstorm biome the odds improve to 1 in 128, which makes that biome the natural place to farm it.

According to the Sol's RNG Wiki, its look is a constantly spinning yellow ring, a thick golden mist around the player and gold particles rising from the ground, plus a few sparkles near the waist. It was created by ep1k_solg, and its orange name in the inventory shows up as yellow in the world.

The reason Gilded still matters is crafting. The wiki lists it as an ingredient for the Exo Gauntlet (3), the Jackpot Gauntlet (77), a Jewelry Potion and a Combinator, and the Matrix : Steampunk recipe asks for 100,000 copies, which the wiki says made it the most used aura in crafting as of Eon 1-17. Its rarer sibling is Gilded : Crowned.
