StarRider : Starfish

A starfish where the star used to be: that is the whole joke of StarRider : Starfish, and it works. The player rides a large orange starfish, leaning backward as if struggling to keep balance, while bubbles and sparkles leave its centre and fall near the ground before dissipating, and smoke trails behind. It belonged to the Summer 2024 event and arrived with Era 8.5. That event is over, so the wiki lists it as unobtainable, and 53_Axis is the credited creator.

When it was available, the numbers were 1 in 250,000 as a breakthrough and 1 in 25,000 in Starfall, making about 25,000 rolls at 1x luck in that weather or 2,500 at 10x. A line of trivia mentions the old mutation system, in which rolling StarRider gave a 1 in 5 chance to mutate into one of its variants. The cutscene is basic: light yellow expands from the sides, a small light yellow star in the centre grows into the aura. The font is Patrick Hand, and it has no active ability.
