About Watermelon
Watermelon is a meme with a countdown attached. It was a Summer 2024 Event aura rolled at 1 in 320,000, which meant about 32,000 rolls with a 10x potion, and it became unobtainable on August 31st, 2024. The Sol's RNG Wiki tells the oddest part of its schedule: it went unobtainable on August 23rd, that change was reverted shortly after to extend the summer quests to August 30th, and it finally closed the day after. 53_Axis is credited as the creator.
Its look is as blunt as its name: a large watermelon swallows the player, and the aura has no idle or walking animation at all. The ability is the real joke. When used, it plays the voice line from a 2013 Vine, about the most beautiful thing ever seen, a watermelon inside a watermelon. The in-game description quotes that line, only with extra excitement in the punctuation.
It has a descendant, Watermelon : Summersnack, from the Summer 2026 event, which rolled only in Blazing Sun and Incinerator. The original needed no special biome. Collectors tracking Summer auras should treat it as the oldest one in this family.
