Update 41 is one of the more interesting releases in Steal a Brainrot history because it's a machine the player base literally voted into existence. The Divine Fuse Machine replaced the original fuse machine after the community pushed for a Divine-themed fusion option, and it dropped as that vote result. When something ships because players demanded it, there's always extra pressure on the devs to deliver — and the reaction to this one was mixed.
The machine itself looks the part. It takes the original Fuse Machine frame and wraps it in a heavenly aesthetic pulled from the Divine rarity theme: glowing, celestial, elevated. Visually it fits right into the top end of the game's style. The core mechanic stays the same as any fuse machine — you feed it four brainrots and it spits out one new one — but the output pool here is all Divine-tier characters.
The Brainrot Pool and What to Aim For
This machine had 16 possible outputs, ranging from the very common to the genuinely rare. On the common end you're looking at Pengolino Nuvoletto and Paradiso Axolottino with drop rates above 85%. On the rare end, Bunny and Eggy sits at 3% and Griffin at 13%. The cards below this text show you every brainrot's exact chance, so I won't list them all here.
What I will say is that Griffin is the one most players were debating. It comes from Greek mythology — a creature with over 2,000 years of cultural history — and the community argument was that it deserved OG rarity treatment, similar to how Headless Horseman got bumped up because of its real-world age and non-AI origins. Whether that buff ever happens is still a conversation, but it made Griffin the most talked-about output from this machine.
Why Players Were Divided
Here's the honest take: this machine got compared unfavorably to the original Fuse Machine pretty quickly. The criticism was that the fuse combinations felt unrewarding — too many resources going in for outputs that didn't justify the cost. The community had voted for Divine fusions expecting top-tier results across the board, and getting a pool dominated by 67%- to 95%-chance brainrots felt like a letdown when you wanted the good stuff.
The other issue was timing. The Divine rarity window only had seven days left when this machine launched, which meant it had a limited lifespan before being replaced by the Cyber Craft Machine. A month-long machine it was not.
Is It Worth Remembering?
For lore and collection purposes, yes — Griffin especially. For practical grinding, the Divine Fuse Machine sits in the middle of the pack. It showed what the community could push the devs to build, and that's worth something. Next time a vote like this comes around, players will have a better idea of what to ask for.
