All Chests
Cracking chests is the core loop of 99 Nights in the Forest. Every chest on the map belongs to a specific loot table — Commons hand out basic resources, Goods upgrade you to better seeds and weapons, Irons pop rifles, and Diamond chests are the main source of the premium currency that shares their name.
Unlike other sections, chests don't get dedicated pages — everything fits on the card. Memorize what each chest gives and you'll stop wasting nights on Commons when you should be hunting Iron Chests.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many chests are in 99 Nights in the Forest?
There are 18 chests in total: Common, Good, Iron, Gold, Legendary, Diamond, Corrupted, Infernal, Cold, Ice, Hot, Frog, Alien, Ruby, Obsidiron, Vampire, Spooky, and Presents. Each has its own fixed loot table — the Diamond Chest is the only one guaranteed to drop 5 diamonds per open.
Which chest gives the most diamonds?
The Diamond Chest gives 5 diamonds guaranteed per open, making it the single best diamond source from chests. Gold and Iron Chests each drop 1 diamond alongside weapons and resources. The Common and Good Chests also include a 1-diamond entry in their tables, but with lower pull rates.
Where can I find Iron and Gold Chests?
Iron Chests contain Rifles and defensive blueprints (Spikes), while Gold Chests carry Medkits, Iron Body armor, Morningstar, and Cultist Gems. Both spawn in higher-risk zones deeper on the map. Prioritize these once you have armor and a weapon — they're not worth the trip on night one.
What do the special-theme chests (Frog, Alien, Ice, Hot) contain?
Each themed chest is a self-contained armory: Frog drops Poison Spear, Poison Armour, Frog Boots and Blowpipe; Alien gives Laser Sword, Laser Cannon and Ray Gun; Ice has Ice Axe, Ice Sword and Frozen Shuriken; Hot yields Crossbow, Wildfire and a Lava Mine Blueprint. They are rare spawns tied to specific event or biome zones.
Do seasonal chests (Presents, Spooky) appear in regular matches?
No — the Presents chest is a holiday event drop that guarantees 5 Candy Canes plus a randomized set of seasonal weapons (Peppermint Pelter, Snowball Cannon, Trident). The Spooky Chest drops candy-type food items. Both are limited-time and only appear when the corresponding seasonal event is active.
