Pros

8
  • Chop was the best fruit to use when fighting with another sword user.
  • Chop's passive ability granted immunity to all attacks from swords, including attacks from all players and NPC's with Aura as long as the user was ~105% - 106% of the NPC's level, similar to Elemental effects.
  • Fairly cheap.
  • Decent damage.
  • Decent damage and relatively short cooldown.
  • Good stun.
  • Decent stun.
  • A low-mastery flight move.

Cons

11
  • All of Chop's moves had a very limited range and were relatively easy to avoid.
  • Weak in air.
  • Some sword moves can still stun the user. An example of this is Rengoku's [Z] Demon Slayer move.
  • Ice, Light and the Canvander sword of Besto Friendo from Love's melee attacks bypassed Chop's passive ability as they count as fruit attacks.
  • Bosses and Raid Bosses were not affected by the passive ability.
  • Extremely bad range.
  • The user could not cancel the move once it was used, which made it very easy to counter back if not hit the enemy.
  • Extremely slow.
  • Bad range.
  • Low speed.
  • Not recommended to use for transportation.

Trivia

10
  • 1Although Chop's passive function was to avoid damage from sword slashes, Chop could also avoid swords that can create fire, freeze, cause electric shock, and even magic damage.
  • 2Chop was mostly known because of its sword immunity.
  • 3It was recommended to become a sword main instead of a fruit user when using Chop.
  • 4Most attacks looked weird with R15 and layered clothing since the user's body stretched and did not disconnect.
  • 5Chop was a very good replacement for elemental fruits to use at a low level since most enemies use swords in the First Sea, although it got bad quickly, getting outclassed in every way by higher rarity fruits because of its lack of abilities, and the fact that later NPCs (Second Sea and Third Sea) more commonly use Fighting Styles.
  • 6Chop's X move was similar to Shark Saw's [X] move.
  • 7Bobby, a Lv. 55 Boss, used Chop before Update 26.
  • 8Chop and Rocket were the only fruits in which the [F] move has the highest mastery requirements out of all the other move.
  • 9Chop is one of the only fruits whose reworks completely removed it from the game as Bobby/Chef no longer uses it.
  • 10Chop was replaced by Blade.
